You look wonderful. Congrats on all your hard work, it really shows. Keep the picture of a reminder of where you came from.

My daughter had a lot of problems going #2 as a toddler. We have it under control now. In the beginning it took a glycerin supository to get her to go. She did not really need the medicine in it, rather just the bowel stimulation. Now we have found the combination of limited dairy plus two times the fruit. An apple a day…

I agree 100% ! It is part of the reason of my putting on 20 pounds. I got into the coupon thing and saved huge! It was a real high to walk out of the store with $200 worth of stuff for $20. With all those big savings there was no fresh fruit, fresh veggies, dairy. It was all "non-perimeter" stuff. Now I have a fitness…

I am such a "popper". And it has gotten me in trouble! Half the time I don't realize I am doing it! Thanks for posting this!

Welcome Kim! I need more friends too. I will add you.

Oh boy! Well I guess I can eat a bit more on Christmas day. I have tried to log my exercise at the end of the day to make sure I got my 1200.
-
Am I reading this right? My net should be close to my goal? I thought I was supposed to eat the 1200 per day not including extra exercise calories earned?

Welcome SS! I am finding this site to be wonderful and encouraging no matter how much you have to lose.

Karissa, You have gotten a lot of great suggestions. I have found a busy and non-consistent schedule are a killer for me. I am learning how to plan my food intake a day ahead and bring plenty of water when the unhealthy is available. I also make sure I am not hungry when I head into the unhealthy area. Apples and nuts…

I asked the same question a bit ago. I was in the same boat as you, feeling full at 600-700 calories a day but in the long run, I knew this was not healthy. Is your goal to lose weight or is it to be healthy? In the end I realized that what I really want is to be HEALTHY. I took some time and looked to see what my BMI and…

I am also 38 and looking to lose about 20 lbs. I sent you a request. WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!

Great job at working on changing things. This is not an over night process, it takes time and effort. Pick one area to focus on - maybe lowering your fat or sodium intake. It sounds like you are off to a great start! Don't lose motivation!

UGH! I was so hoping they would go away! Oh Well!

Great site. I picked a good weight. When it considers my small frame, I picked one pound over their lowest recomendation. When I got married I was all of 105#. Most of the time I felt pretty tired and yucky. I do not need to be that low. When I put on 10# I felt so much better so that is what I am shooting for now. Thanks!

welcome and good luck! I have found this site to be so motivating! Looking forward to losing with you!

tigertchr23 has some great ideas! As for the protein powder and the ziplock bags. check the baby section at your local store (target or walmart, etc). They used to make a plastic powdered formula holder. It was round, 3-4" across the top and 2+" tall, It had 3 sections with a top that rotated so you could easily pour the…

Thanks everyone! The cupcakes and other sweet treats have made their way out of my office and into the staff lounge. However, I am feasting on the fruit

Nice to meet you! My fitness goals and weightloss - I would like to go back to my pre-baby weight which was 112lbs. I felt great then and I was very please with how I looked. The weight number is just a number, if I achieve a well toned body that will fit back into my clothes then I will consider myself successful, even if…
