The only issue in your post is "giant" -- you don't want to eat a GIANT anything, unless it's an apple or a peach!! Good luck & enjoy your carniverous self! :drinker:

Not to be nitpicky, but it would mean a lot more if you would spell out the abbreviations. I have no idea what they mean.
-
Me, too! This is a wonderful, supportive & inspiring group of people. And good luck on those last 10 pounds -- they can be hard to get rid of! :o

It's not just how much you exercise, the intensity really does count. If you can get some good high intensity interval training in (if you go to intervaltraining.net, there's a lot of great workouts there) 3-4X a week, you should be good to go. You have to really watch "eating back" your exercise calories. We often…

I only see one pic of you, and you're smiling, so I'll take that as a good sign! :o

1. Turbo Jam is a fantastic choice! If you are sore when you move something and get a sharp pain, you've hurt yourself. If you are sore like you worked out a few days in a row and you're feeling it, that's a good thing. 2. Muscle burns more calories than fat, and the more muscle you have on your body, the more you can eat…

Wow, that's fantastic! Congratulations!:drinker:

Which ALSO means, goodbye to being overweight, feeling blah, out of energy and bad about yourself. Go get 'em, girl!:drinker:

Hey, Josh!! Welcome! Feel free to add me. I'm doing a 30-day Eating Clean Challenge with my BF (who is also on here, (marysslhj) and having one "cheat" meal a week. I've done ChaLEAN Extreme and now am getting ready to move on to P90X (haven't ordered it yet). Good luck, and feel free to add me as a friend!

I drink a Shakeology once a day now. I don't see it as a meal replacement, however; I use it more as a supplement for nutrition and probiotics and prebiotics. I have MUCH less gastro reflux and IBS since I've been drinking it (for about a month now). I am also a big believer in chewing! Good luck on finding one that works…

You can't trust exercise machines for calorie burns. They're all over the road. That being said, you also have to watch how many calories MFP gives you, because at times it seems like it overdoes it. Good luck and happy biking!

I love Trader Joe's, too!! I like their organic olive oil, tabouleh and spreads and their sushi veggie rolls. I also like that I can get organic produce there, and it doesn't break the bank.

Am I reading your stats correctly? Do you have ONE POUND to go?! If so, PLEASE stop stressing!! You look beautiful in that photo, give up the 1 lb. and be HAPPY. Keep what you've gotten through eating healthy & exercise and stop stressing!

I agree with all of the above. One bad day won't kill you. In fact, it may help your body not feel like you're in starvation mode and HELP you with weight loss. That being said, it has to be the exception and not the rule. If that's so, you're good to go. Good luck, you can do it!!
-
Good luck & feel free to add me as a friend. You can do it!!
-
Congratulations!!! Great goals, great job!

I third the ChaLEAN Extreme nomination. She is amazing.
-
You can do it!! I have 20 lbs. left to go, so we're close to being in the same boat. Good luck & feel free to add me. :o
-
ChaLEAN Extreme, girl! She'll teach you how to use those weights and build muscle. Good luck!
-
Thanks, everybody! The challenge is ON as of tomorrow! Cheers!:drinker:

Eat food. Real, chew-this-because-you-now-have-teeth adult, healthy food, like veggies & fruits and lean meats. Add water. Enjoy good health!:drinker:

Hi, Shawna, and welcome back! I've been here since November, struggling to lose about 40 lbs. I'm down 15 so far using ChaLEAN Extreme. I'm done that program and beginning with 10 Minute Trainer for the beginning of August and then a hybrid of P90X and 10 Minute Trainer beginning the end of August. I'm just starting a…
-
Not to be dim, but what program are you talking about? And hey, I'm starting P90X August 25th (my birthday)! I did ChaLEAN Extreme and saw a weight loss of about 15 lbs. and some muscle gains. Not as extreme as I hoped for, but my hubby says I look great. Food choices have NOT been great as of late, either.

Where in Georgia are you? I have a good friend in Evans.

Just tone it down. You don't have to kill yourself every day. Rest is legitimate part of fitness, too. Good luck!

I'm *fairly* certain from what I've been reading about going anaerobic (above your max) that it's fine to go as hard as you can, but as she said (above me), not for an extended period of time. Doing any kind of sprints where you get your heart rate up high and then bring it down again (and up again and then down again) is…

Way to go! You are both beautiful. Congrats.

135 only because you have MUSCLE!! Do tell.

That was kind of confusing, didn't you think? Interesting, though!
