I have pernacious anaemia which means i cannot absorb B12 through my gastric tract. I have to have injections every 3 months for the rest of my life. With Coelics becasue it also can cause absorption issues you may well need to have the injections. Usually what they do if give you some very high dose B12 tablets first and…

Low carb or no carb? if you're doing terryaki salmon that lends itself to going with stir fried veg and noodles surely? maybe shiritake noodles if you specifically want to avoid carbs - and a stir fry veggie pack from any leading supermarket, to flavour the noodles and veg in a way that would suit terryaki, stir fry the…

make sure you log your drinks and include them in your calories - maybe do some extra excercise during the day to give yourself more of a calories buffer to accomodate them. ultimately if you stick to your calories for the day, whether they come from alcohol or not won't have a great impact. but if you eat a full calorie…

Hmmm i pretty much get back and eat anyway,.... i'll try to find something more slow release to eat before the run maybe and see if that helps. thanks for the advice!

OK will do - apparently i walk very flat and heavy footed so it probably is worth getting them properly fitted... thanks again for the help!

Hwey guys just wanted to pop back in and say a massive thank you to everyone for your advice and to say yep you were all completely right and it was a speed thing. I forced myself to slow down today - kept between 4.5 and 5.5 mph (according to cardio trainer tracking - don't know how accurate that is) and managed the full…

Think is i try to run slower but that's the pace i tend to end up at - i run outside so i don't have a treadmill or anything to tell me what speed im doing, just cardio trainer - it's possible their GPS tracking isn#t that accurate though. Thank you guys for your responses they're very helpful - i'll persevere and try to…

All my Boyfriends have been skinny - my current is 6 ft 2 and about 130 lbs....I think he's the hottest thing ever! it's not your weight holding you back its your confidence

I always have a packet of crumpets and some super light margarine in the fridge at work, and usually try to have peanut butter and weetabix in my drawer - but i am a carbohydrate addict - recently i've been bringing hard boiled eggs into work to try and up my protein/increase satiety - a boiled egg in its shell will keep…

Home marinaded and baked chicken breast (done last night) with shredded iceberg lettuce, green pepper, celery and fat free dressing. Plus a hard boiled egg.

^^^ Do go to the doctor and empathise how unhappy and scared this is making you. You are obviously aware that something is wrong and any doctor worth his salts will book you in for a proper pyschological assessment at least. I sympathise about people thinking it's just a phase - my doctor initially told my mother that my…

The one that is the most irritating to me is the "ooh you can eat this you're really skinny" or "why do you calorie count you don't need to you're thin already" - I know other people have mentioned these but I don't get why people don't understand that in order to stay slim you have to watch what you eat forever - it's not…
-
OP i empathise with you massively, i really have a hard time sticking to my calories every day too. having healthy snacks helps and logging your food before you eat it also helps - sometimes its just the additional check you need to think "do i really need this" or not. i think the other thing you could benefit from is…

Try logging the calories before you eat it - i'm a wine/cheese/crisps addict and can easily go through a whole block of cheese and a bottle of wine in an hour or two if i'm dodging feelings. The only thing that really makes me slow down and think about what i'm doing is having a strict rule of logging everything before i…

good luck with yours ;-) although i'ts not my job that offers it at all this is a trainer who comes to the office complex that my (and a few other companies) share - I pay to attend the sessions and likewise have to stealth eat my lunch an hour before the session so i don't run out of energy. my friend's job pays for her…

Thanks again guys for the responses - went to the other session today which was a little easier anyway and the last 10 mins got rained off... still stiff so a bit wary of how im going to be tomorrow, but as everyone keeps reminding me - no pain no gain! Plus i know i would have been angry with myself if i didn't show…

Thanks guys - never heard of epsom salts before so i will definitely see if i can pick some up and i guess just make the instructor aware if it's still so painful tomorrow so he doesn't think i'm slacking if i need to ease off. I know it will get easier - hopefully sooner rather than later! really appreciate the help :-)

Agreed - that IS a little underweight for that height and if her periods have stopped that is not healthy.
