  • You are definitely not the only one, I've been the exact same way for as long as I can remember. And saying that it is a self sabotaging behavior is the perfect description. I'd get close to a weigh in or goal and all of a sudden if I had a cookie, that's it, my whole diet is shot and I'd eat like 10 cookies! I mean, of…
  • You're going to do awesome and look great for your reunion! 2 good days will turn into 20 in no time!
  • Please feel free to add me too. I just joined a group of about 20 people who are weighing in once a week together to keep each other accountable, I think I can send you a link to the forum if you're interested!
  • The only thing that got my lazy butt off the couch yesterday (for an admittedly slow run) was thinking about our group weigh in, awesome motivation! Down to 139.1 this week!
  • I completely know how you feel, it's so hard to stay motivated and so easy to get into a funk! Once you get that first few pounds off you'll start to feel more motivation to keep going. Maybe try on that bridesmaid's dress every time you weigh in so that you can actually see the changes in your body.
  • I'm a fan of Yoplait Source too, I picked up a 'case' of it that I hadn't seen before last week with flavors that included goji berries, papaya, pomegranate... Mmm, they were really good!
  • I have the 205, I didn't really need it for much more than distance and pace but there are a ton of other features that I should really make an effort to use. Only complaint would be that the face is pretty big and can sit uncomfortably on my wrist at times but otherwise I love it.

  • Hi Murdog, This is a tough question because everyone is going to be different... (I know, duh right?) I've been running off and on for years too and find even day by day my body seems to respond differently! If you plan on keeping it up and want to invest in a Garmin Forerunner, they're great. I was lucky enough to have…
  • Welcome! Hope you enjoy the site as much as the rest of us do!
  • LOL, thank goodness someone agrees with me! My husband thought I was a little crazy for getting mad every time I saw an ad but I just think it sends such a bad message to people, especially kids that look up to these athletes! I mean, I know they need sponsorship money from somewhere but...
  • I've been thinking the same thing, I'd be happy to have a friend on here! (I'll add you... If I can figure out what I'm doing! :P )
  • I agree that they're just trying to hold on to the 'healthier' clientele with this kind of marketing. But I think what bothered me more is that they were the official sponsors of the Olympics. Really, I doubt Olympic athletes eat McDonald's on a regular basis!
  • SW: 144.3 CW: 141.1 GW: 125 Thanks so much Jenn!
  • I'd like to join! I've been on again/off again with MFP and I'd love to have a group to help keep me accountable! (I've been shooting for Monday weigh-ins as well... Yes, to keep me motivated over the weekend!) Looking forward to this!
