That's is crazy timing! I was just thinking this morning that I could use some friends on here to help keep me motivated for the last 15ish pounds! I've been using MFP on and off for years and it's always been a huge help but having some people to be accountable to will definitely help push me to get back to my…

I've thought of this but I feel like I'd look super creepy running around the neighbourhood in a ski mask!

I've never found the cold to be much of a problem until this year, which is ridiculous because it's been the mildest winter in years! I have pretty good circulation but I find that my face has been getting cold, any suggestions? I find regular scarves either don't stay where they should...

Amazing difference, you look fabulous! Thanks for posting!

Originally from Saskatoon and now in the booming metropolis of Moose Jaw... I miss Saskatoon!

Love it!

With you on the unsolicited advice, amazing how many people feel the need to share their opinion on virtually every child care topic out there! :ohwell: I should add; some of it has been very helpful on rough days though, definitely not complaining!

My yoga instructor told one of the other participants that it's toxins leaving your system when you feel nauseous. Unfortunately, she didn't really go into what you can do to alleviate it!

Definitely a love/hate relationship with my treadmill... So happy to have it, wouldn't be able to get in nearly as many runs without it, but it sure is tough to get my butt on there to begin with! I would much rather be outside! I think it has to do with the fact that outside you naturally adjust your pace to the highs and…

Congrats, that's fabulous! Isn't it a good feeling to be out of the maternity clothes?!

Feel free to add me as well, my little one is just about 5 months old and we've been nursing exclusively as well. I had read that breastfeeding mothers need at least 1800 calories a day so I've manually set my calorie intake to 1300, add 500 each day for breastfeeding and eat back most of my exercise calories. Every…

That's fantastic, good work!

Yep - totally the same! I've set goal weights hundreds of times! This time I just said I was going to log in to MFP for 60 days and I'm up to 41 days, down 14 lbs... Good luck with your 90, it'll go by in a flash!

Bump - you look fantastic, can't wait to read your story!

Completely agree! I don't know what it is about the treadmill but I find it physically harder (like I'm carrying an extra 20lbs...) and yes, so, so boring...

I've used Hal Higdon's training for my runs and have had good outcomes! http://www.halhigdon.com/10ktraining/10knovice.htm

Awesome! Hope everyone else has had a good week! Weigh in: SW: 151.9 LW: 149.7 CW: 148.7 Loss: 3.2 - 6.8 left to go, doesn't it feel like Christmas is suddenly coming way too fast?! Does anyone have any fitness or nutrition goals this week? I really want to get more vegetables in, never a problem with fruit because it's so…

Oh no, my doctor was fine with me keeping up my activity level but due to a combination of snow, lack of energy and me not being a huge fan of the treadmill I really didn't keep up with running over the winter. Once spring came, and I felt as big as a house, I really regretted it! Impressive that anyone has the motivation…

I felt the same way, I think I took running for granted until I got pregnant. Must have looked like a sad puppy at the window every time I saw someone go by in running shoes... Little one arrived in July and I don't think I'd ever been happier to get out!
-
Wow, your pictures should be enough motivation, you look fantastic! Keep up the good work!

I try to avoid it, I find it discouraging to see a gain... On the other hand though, it's pretty motivating to see a loss too!

Hello! My name is Heather and I'm from Saskatchewan. I've run 2 1/2's and am debating whether or not I'll have the commitment to run a full in May. Thanks for starting up a group, hoping that reading other runners stories and advice will help motivate me to get my butt on the treadmill enough over the winter to be ready!

Hi! I'm Heather, I'm 32 years old and have a 4 month old daughter. Thanks for the invite to the group, completely agree that it's tough to stay motivated during our winters, I enjoy outdoor exercise so much more! I love running, but again, hate the treadmill! I've done the Queen City 1/2 marathon and the Saskatchewan 1/2…

Bump - I've been looking for a good peanut sauce recipe too!

Feel free to add me, we can cheer each other on!
