I have PCOS (causes insulin resistance) and Hypothyroidism. I am losing, slowly, by working out moderately and watching what I eat. I don't stick to my plan 100% but I am still making progress when I don't completely fall off the wagon. Consistency is key. You do not need to burn yourself out, but realize progress may be…

I have PCOS too. I've tried multiple times to lose the weight and this time I'm successful so far. I have lost 24 pounds since August. I know it's not that fast but I hope slow and steady means I'll be able to keep it off :)

On days I can't get out to workout (dark, rainy, etc.), I use this video. It is designed to be almost silent for people in your situation so there is no stomping or loud movements. :) https://youtube.com/watch?v=YaJryQEsT94

I gained 80 pounds in less than 3 years and nothing I did would help the weight budge. I did go to the gym as I was gaining the weight to try to stop it, but no matter how hard I worked out, I hardly lost an ounce. I'm not saying that your story will be the same, but I went to the doctor and had my thyroid tested. The…

I was sitting in "Technology Education" in 8th grade. I had that class with my best friend and we were on lockdown in that room until we could leave for the day. Our school didn't let us out early for any circumstance on any day, so we were there all day long.

In 2010, I was in the hospital for Asthma & Bronchitis - pretty severe. They had me on steroids for a week, and I had to taper off of them when I got out for another 1-2 weeks. I was always starving and I ate everything I could to try to make the hunger go away. After that, I slowly started gaining steadily. After many,…

I'm always looking for more friends, too! I'm 25 years old, 5'3", starting weight: 226, current weight: 218, goal weight: 125 Anybody feel free to add me! My biggest problem is that I'm always hungry and I'm currently unemployed so I have a lot of free time to (unfortunately) sit and think about food. Now that spring is…

I have PCOS too. I'm not going to give any advice on diet and specific weight loss because I haven't lost much yet myself, but I just wanted to share this workout with you because you mentioned pain. I don't know what specific pain you have, but this is a low impact workout that does not involve any jumping and I found it…

I hope so! I used to be a 9/10 and now I can fit some 18s and some 20s so I really really hope I can get back where I was. At this weight I would never think my body could be a 9 but knowing that I was before reminds me that it's possible! Good luck!
