  • Well, usually it is my kids! But since I have redone their playroom and set up "my space" with the TV and DVD they tend to play more with their toys and stuff. I like being able to walk on my treadmill too while they are playing the Wii or with their toys. I like having "my area" and "their" area in the playroom. If you…
  • That's amazing...you look great.. Keep up the good work!
  • Sorry but not exercised in over a week. It's killing me, but this cold stuff is for the birds. I have not stopped coughing for over a week. It's getting better, but just no energy to exercise. I hope to get back on the band wagon in a couple days. Hope each of you are doing great in your shredding journey. I really miss…
  • You know I was thinking the same thing! I just hate to pay the money when this is free. But I thought it might help...need to check into it more. I have a friend that lost lots of weight on WW. I've done it before, but seems it was always hard to go to the meetings. But being online may be easier.
  • Just checking in...I've been sick for the last 5 days or so. I have not been able to exercise at all. However, I'm not giving up. I will pick up where I left off. Still on level 1 d9, almost ready for L2. I'm behind schedule of pretty much everyone, but I think that as long as I can complete the workouts...well that's…
  • Level 1 day 8 complete!! I missed yesterday, but just really did absolutley "Nothing" and it was nice. Being at home with three (actually had 4 this weekend) kids during the snow days, weekend and MLK day, I needed a break. I am not one that just "sits" it feel as if I always have to be doing "something". Well, I just…
  • Checking in...Day 7 of level 1 complete. It is getting easier. However, during the 'jump rope" segment I am getting "chin splints", they go away but during jump rope part it is killing me. Anyone else having this problem? Getting excited and nervous about level 2, but I'm going to make it....even if my eyeballs are…
  • Okay just finshed my "day 6"!!! Getting much easier. I've been forgetting to check in..sometimes no extra computer time. But I'm determined to finish this 30 day plan. I have missed a couple days, but not giving up. Going to complete these next 4 days of level 1 then moving on to level 2. Getting excited about the next…
  • Yippie!! Day 3 (actually 2 days in row complete). It felt so good today to exercise. I plan to continue tomorrow as well. Hope everyone has had a great day.
  • YEAH I did it today!!:drinker: It felt good to finally get "day 2" only 5 day's after "day 1" LOL!!! I said yesterday I was going to do it and I did. So, I plan to do it tomorrow as well. I also did some Wii Fit Plus. It's been a good day. Gee I guess tomorrow is actually 'day 2" not "day 3" he he he!!!
  • Okay, so far not been able to commit like I had intended.:grumble: It is driving me nuts!!!! No IF's AND's or BUT's I'm doing it tomorrow. I will be a bit behind the mojority of you all, but I'm not going to give up. Please keep me motivated! I really enjoy exercising, just find other things to do (laundry, clean…
  • Thanks DebbieW for the words of encouragement!
  • Okay I didn't start on Jan. 1....just didn't happen! But I did Level 1 Day 1 today January 2, 2010. I have to say it feels really good to get back to exercising! Ready for day 2!!!!
  • Okay, sounds good! I started before, but well didn't make the 30 days:frown: ! LOL The thing I noticed is that it doesn't tell you when to go to the next level, maybe I missed that part. I wasn't sure, since there are 3 levels how long each level is suppossed to be...anyone know? I'm really excited about…
  • Hello, I am not new to MFP but I'm getting back on track (again). So, maybe we can encourage each other during this weight loss journey. I have actually lost 23 pounds (MFP shows just the 13). My goal is to lose 50, so I'm wanting to get these extra pounds off once and for all! This really is a great site. I was extremely…
  • Welcomee back! I'm in the same boat with you. I was doing really well with MFP up until summer months. I have three kids and well, during summer things just got hectic. My kids are now back in school (2 now 1 after labor day) so I am back to getting on track. I need encouragment too..so lets work on this together! Good…
  • Way to go..that is the first step in making a change. I used to go to the Y and loved it. That was always my concern too, about the money and no childcare. But they had childcare too and the kids enjoyed it! I let my membership expire but would go back if I "didn't have to leave the house" LOL. Congratulations and yes they…
  • I'm glad I'm not the only one that does this too! I am stay at home mom too and find myself wanting to eat. I'm glad you posted this topic. Reading everyone's post is great! I actually went for a walk tonight and it was great...so no snacking. I tend to snack in the early evening and that is not good either. Sometimes…
  • Good luck and welcome! I've been off and on but when I was on I did great. I'm back on 100% now. We are all here to support you. You can add me as friend if you would like too! Great support...even when you feel you've fallen off. The people here are great to get you moving again!
  • Good luck! I'm kindof in the same boat. I joined "really" in November. Didn't do so well, then got really serious in January and to date have lost 23 pounds (10 before MFP). My goal is 50, so I'm almost half way! Anyway, for about 1-2 months I have been slacking like crazy. I'm busy all the time with my kids and ball so…
  • WOW....amazing!!!!!
  • Awesome is all I can say!!!!
  • WOW that is awesome! I know that you must really feel so good right now. I hope that you continue your success! It is really amazing how quick styles change...I cleaned mine back in the winter just to get rid of some crap and I was really shocked with some of the stuff. I think I packed 5 kitchen garbage bags full! Keep up…
  • Thanks...I just recently purchased a Heart Rate Monitor and was totally surprised with the amount of calories burned. I will check this site and compare to my HRM. I'm not burning nearly half as what I thought I was burning. But guess a calorie burned is a calorie burned!
  • deckerp...thanks for the input. What exactly do you mean split the difference? Sorry, it's late so maybe I'm just confused!!! I am planning on using mine during Aerobic type exercises too (ie. Wii Just Dance, BL etc). I am really curious about the actual distance. I may give it a try tomorrow outside and see…
  • I just bought the SportlineS12 series and not really sure yet. I just started using it and the other day while walking on my treadmill for 40 minutes, it was not the same. The treadmill was almost 100 calories higher than the HRM. I'm really confused. I understand it can just estimate, but now which do I use...treadmill…
