This is harsh but you are just making excuses. You dont have to like numbers to be sucessful. You dont have to follow a plan perfectly to be successful. You just have to WANT it and be ready. Maybe you arent ready?

I stalled out at 1200 calories. It wasn't enough. I lost at first but that stopped until I upped my calories. I also lost a ton of hair.

2lbs a week is too much IMO. That is 7000 calories extra or 1000/day. You don't have much to gain. I would aim for 0.5lb/week. Now that I am closer to my goal(losing) I changed my settings so I am losing 0.5lb/week max. When I had 130lbs to lose then 2lb/week was more attainable. It's the same for weight gain.
