Why thank you! You motivate me too -- we're all in this together :-)

I said that I was going to rest but my treadmill called my name and I can't say no so 30 minutes and 365 cals later, got my sweat on! All of you are doing such awesome jobs -- so inspiring that we all made it to day 5! Woohoo!!! My weekend is packed - hip hop class and lunch with friends tomorrow and hiking trip on Sunday.…

No set days but I do once a week. Depends on my mood also if I'm cheating with 1 meal or entire day. Im such a sucker for Filipino, Korean & Japanese food so you can count on me having rice that day. I still keep the portions small though because my stomach cant take all that much anymore :-) Happy cheat day!

If you want to work out your abs, here's a simple routine. http://itzlinz.com/2013/01/11/turn-around-ab-workout/ Happy Friday all!

So impressed with everyone's progress! Great job everyone! I'll be putting in my 30 minutes of incline walk + 30 secs plank + 100 crunches! Let's do this!

I saw this on The Today Show this morning and this is how I feel about you guys. To me, you're not just a bunch of names but you are my teammates and that we're all working on achieving the same goal - living a healthier life. Take time to watch and be inspired! http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/50420047#50420047

Day 3 DONE! Incline walking again and legs are less sore today. I'm going to rest (maybe) on Friday because on Saturday, my 1.5 hours of hip hop class is back on then on Sunday, hubby & I are going for a hike at Brushy Peak in Livermore. Not so high, 1,700 ft but it's gonna be cold! I'll make sure to have my HRM, so…

Get a heart rate monitor so you can track cals burned when your doing weights then enter the cals on cardio. Great job on weights!
-

Great job everyone! So happy to see you in day 2! I just got done with my 30 minutes incline walking at 15% incline. Legs still a little sore from the Nike Training Club workout that I did last Saturday but is getting better ... Just no running yet...maybe next week. My first 5K is in a week & a half so gotta train for…

Legs are still sore from last Saturday's workout but did my Sweaty 30 deed today - incline walking at 10%. Bye 300 cals! BTW, great job everyone! Tomorrow's another day -- let's do this! :flowerforyou:

I am lovin' this group so far -- great job all! I got a heart rate monitor and I tell yah, you put that thing on and go with your day, you'd be amazed how much calories you are burning without you noticing it - especially if you're running around after kids or doing chores. If you don't have one, I strongly encourage you…

way to go! that's what I'm talking about! Though my legs hurt from working out last Saturday, I'm doing my share for today. It'll be 30 minutes of incline walking at 15%, 2.5 pace. I usually burn around 400 cals doing that. Great start! Woohoo!

I agree - rest if you need to because the most important thing is to be safe and free of injury so you can continue. But if you can do it for the entire 3 months, why not. I'm so excited -- yay!

1.5 lbs is very reasonable but I won't mind 2 lbs per week  I will be running my first 5K on January 19. I've done 5Ks before but mostly walking but this time, I will really be running (more like a jog with my short legs) but I am determined to run the entire 5K!

MAC and Benefits for me. What a fun way to reward yourself!
-
Chat away honey...I don't mind LOL! Adding you right now so we can go through this journey together!

I've been there. Sometimes I think that I will never reach my goal and fail. I know it's hard at first but you can't expect the change to happen in 5 days. It's a slow process but you got to start believing in yourself that you can do this. You already put in 5 days - what's another 5 days? Just keep doing it and the next…

Combination of both works for me. I way I see it cardio helps with losing the fat and weights tones the muscles.

Listen to music when running but when doing incline walking, The Big Bang Theory always makes the forget what I'm doing
-
Chunky runner here! :) I'm on week 8 of C25K and just like majority of you, I almost passed out after doing 30 seconds of jogging but now, I can go and run for 30+ mins without stopping and I love it! I'm running my first 5K on Jan. 19 I'm so adding you right now

1. What's your height/ weight? 4'11" / 180 lbs and I eat 1200 cals / day --- more if I work out because I eat the cals back 2. Do you get REALLY REALLY hungry during the day? If not, was there an adjustment period? Since joining MFP, yes, I got hungry during the first 2-3 weeks but not anymore...used to it now I guess. If…
