you're eating too little. sure you will lose weight but you will lose muscle mass which will ultimately decrease your metabolic rate. not good. if you are aiming for the skinny fragile look than by all means consume 1000 calories. you should aim for 1500 calories a day.

you need to focus on all three macronutrients which are fats carbs and proteins. just because you consume less carbs do not mean you will lose weight.

get trutein protein powder. it has a combination of whey, egg and casein protein. great pricing too. protein shakes and protein bars are what you probably need.

cutting carbs is only appropriate if you are carb cycle(it should be done only if you are advanced when it comes to dieting and exericsing). but other than that do not cut carbs and we are talking about less than 100 carbs a day.
