Maybe it's your food intake?

Hey! I was in the same boat a few years ago. I used a a book called Total Immersion which helped my swimming a lot. I also made sure to swim at least 3 times a week. And I also had a friend take me out in the middle of a lake in a life jacket so I could practice in open water. I also needed to use ear plugs due to nausea…

I wouldn't. I would be nervous that someone would walk on her or drop a weight on her. I think it's just a potential danger. Also, how could you get a good workout? If you don't want to leave her in the daycare, maybe you could get a stroller and go walking with her.

Very inspiring!

No offense OP but sounds like he just was looking for an excuse not to be friends anymore. I've seen it happen before. That over reaction was his way to end it.

You look fantastic!

No offense to most of you who are against Atkins, but did any of you read the book? It seems that a lot of people think it's a "no carb" diet, when that's not at all what it is. Please read the book and get educated before condemning something you know nothing about. FYI, if your friend or whoever, just ate meat and cheese…

You look incredible!!

Hi, I'm 30 year old mother of 2. I did a sprint triathlon about 2 years ago. I wanted to do some this past summer but, because of various problems, didn't make it. I'd like to try and do some once the season starts up around here again. I really need to work on my swimming.

You look great! I did a tri about 2 years ago. I can't wait to get back into it once the season starts back up again.

Wow, great results! Good work!

If your purpose for working out at the gym is to please other people, then by all means stop riding the bike. If you're riding the bike for your own fitness and health, then keep riding the bike. :) Other people's negative thoughts are not going to do anything FOR or AGAINST you and your actions.

Congrats!! I still remember my first 20 minute run and it made me feel invincible! Here's too many more great runs!

Smaller portions and putting the left overs up for later.

Does your gym have complimentary personal training? They can give you a routine, take you around and show you how to perform each exercise. Also, if you don't have that available to you, you can check out this website. It has a ton of exercises, including what muscles they target and a mini clip on how to correctly do…

Do you have a farmer's market nearby? Produce is a lot cheaper there and you can sometimes get milk and eggs too. Stuff like beans are super healthy and very cheap. What types of things are you eating now?
-
Don't worry. It's not about you, they are just down on themselves. They see you losing weight and already are making excuses for themselves as to why they can't do it. Just be proud of yourself and ignore them.

Nice! That's the result of all your hard work!

This might not be for everyone but there's a stylist named Ouidad who has this suggestion (as well as her thoughts on sweat and hair): http://blog.ouidad.com/index.php/2009/05/14/a-stylists-work-is-never-done/

Good job! If you never give up, you can never fail :)
