My freshman psych class says the best way to teach children/teens how to avoid peer pressure is to show them exactly what to say or do. So if you don't want your son to hang out with those "wannabe" gangster kids you'd have to tell him to say "No, I can't gang bang later today, I have karate" or something along those lines

Drink when you're thirsty. Drinking 8 cups a day is totally unnecessary/excessive and bad for the environment!

Log it as sedentary, you'll be overeating on the days that you're not working out.

You didn't gain weight from the VLC diet, you gained because you binged.

You cannot gain weight from starving yourself, if you're actually not eating anything or eating VEW few calories you will lose weight a.k.a. anorexics.

Bananas, steel cut oats and peanut butter are all high in carbs or more fat than protein. Consider other protein sources.

Muscle does NOT weigh more than fat. It is probably water retention, stay hydrated and it will balance itself out eventually!

Many packaged meats have low sodium options, you could also just alternate between your regular high sodium meats one day and a veggie/meatless sandwich the next.

Save your calories throughout the day. Eat a lot of things (volume) that are low in calories, ex. 4 cups of broccoli, 6oz chicken breast etc

I avoid caffeine. Try peppermint tea, it doesn't need any sugar, is very aromatic and caffeine-free!
