  • Gallstones are a frequent complication of losing weight too fast.
  • caffeine withdrawal is bad and can cause headaches and flu like symptoms. You can start by going back to what you used to drink minus the sugar and gradually cut down on the amount of tea you drink if you want or you can just deal with a headache for a few more days and be done with it. Unless there is a medical reason to…
  • Didn't Rocco have a "reality" tv show a few years ago about running or opening a restaurant in NY? That name sounds familiar to me maybe he's done other things since the show I am thinking of that may or may not have existed. This factoid has little to do with a healthy diet other than I am not entirely sure what his…
  • I remember my sister talking about this diet years ago. I remember it so well because at the time I was vegetarian and someone with type O blood is supposed to eat meat and stay away from carbs and certain vegetables.
  • I know I consume something with sugar in it every day. it's a bit hard to avoid all sugars. Once a week i take a fun type class and there is always snacks. I allow myself to have whatever snack i want there even if it's peanut butter cups or cookies or both. yeah usually both. I work it in for the day if I can.
  • A little tummy upset can be cause by a whole host of reasons from increasing fiber too quickly, to eating something that was too spicy, to taking new vitamins, to even your emotional state. I wouldn't worry about it unless it goes on for a period of time in which case you'd want to see a doctor.
  • I make the best baked mac and cheese. The secret is using a variety of cheeses and 2% or whole milk. Sometimes I add bacon to it. I do on occasion like the blue box but this last time I made some it was tasteless. Like it didn't have any flavor.
  • *googles rainbow drops* It looks like Trix cereal. Snacks foods are always the downfall particularly when they pack 2 or more serving in a little package. Because everyone knows that you are going to share that package with 2.3 people.
  • I used to be heavier 197 was my heaviest weight and I saw a picture of myself. It was for a college project for class we all had to go out and take pictures of each other for a presentation. when I saw my picture I wanted to cry. I knew I had gotten heavy but had avoided mirrors like if I didn't see it then it wasn't that…
  • being hungry and thinking you are hungry are two different things. If you just ate and still feel hungry then wait a bit and go do something that will be a distraction. if you still feel hungry in 30 minutes than get some veggies or an apple with a bit of protein. I tend to think I am hungry if I am bored so I go for a…
  • I am breaking it up into two walks a day. One in the morning and one after dinner. My issue is both fitness level and time. I often don't get up early enough to get it all done in the morning and I don't have enough time at night. I may be able to once I start increasing my pace.

  • Stress and anxiety were always the triggers for me. More so than food. stress is a vicious cycle and the mind and gut can go back and forth with each other. in that you are worried about work so then your digestion gets off, then you worry about that which causes further digestion issues, then you miss work because you…
  • I'm 5'3" my goal is 130 to 135.
  • I'm really surprised that none of them have had emergency gallbladder surgery during the filming. Rapid weight loss is a risk factor for gallstones.
  • I was watching a program that talked about drinking water before a meal and how the theory is it will fill you up and you wont eat as much. As they showed this can be false because water having nothing to it it just moves from the stomach into the small intestine fairly quickly. there isn't anything that the stomach has to…
  • Not sure how old you are but considering you said school I am going to assume college age. sure you can lose weight rapidly but it's probably not wise or healthy. Look at this as not a diet that you will stop when you reach your goal weight but something you will continue for the rest of your life. Focus on a well balanced…
  • I did this once. I didn't even manage to make it a full day. I caved by dinner time.
  • There is the Riverwalk Trail. Wildwood Park has some walking trails but it's been years since I was there. There is also Bradley Lake Park. The Foothills Trail is pretty nice.
  • It can but with a combination of lifestyle and location you or anyone may not get enough. The farther your location is for the equator the more time out of the year the angle of the sun will be wrong plentiful Vitamin D production. It's okay but it's not enough. Mix in that most people work in offices and inside building…
  • I have a stove top popper so i pop the kernels in a bit of coconut oil. When done I toss them with a tablespoon of melted butter. for seasoning I use either butter flavored popcorn seasoning or I use an asiago peppercorn popcorn seasoning. The melted butter helps the seasoning stick. you have to work fast while it's hot…
  • USDA has a tracker on choosemyplate.gov and I can't seem to find any age requirements there. They don't have any community features it's strictly a food and exercise tracker. Their BMI calculator for children takes you to the CDC and they have some calorie charts for children based on age.
  • There is no industry standard to ready made clothing sizes. The number and sizing is pretty much all over the place and some brands and stores do vanity sizing. there there are things called modern sizing or modern fit. Now if you want a realm with no vanity sizing take up sewing your own clothing. A few pattern companies…
  • I'll be glad when mine go down in size. It wont be depressing at all. Even when I was at my thinnest I was still a D cup so I know mine wont disappear.
  • If you just recently increased your fiber intake you can actually get the opposite result while your body adjusts. make sure you are getting plenty of fluids and fats. I have digestive issues and sometimes struggle to get enough fiber in my diet. My GI doctor recommended I try Metamucil and that does in fact work the best…
  • one whole egg either hard boiled or scrambled in a non-stick pan served with sauteed mushrooms and feta cheese or chopped fresh green beans sauteed with 1 slice finely chopped bacon Oatmeal cooked with a tiny amount of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon peanut butter, banana on the side apple slices and peanut butter with one…
  • For some perspective a 1,000 calories per day is the recommended amount for sedentary children 2 to 3 years of age. Unless you are a toddler you will need more calories per day just the fuel yourself for doing the things adults do like driving to work, working, sleeping, grocery shopping, and chores.
  • 2 hard boiled eggs with some pepperjack cheese and a mug of coffee.
  • I like the mug brownie. sometimes I add a bit of peanut butter to it. I figure it's still better than making a whole 8 inch pan of brownies. I may have to try the others. thanks.
  • I think whatever you do you have to feel comfortable with it to follow it for a lifetime. I know for myself I'd be extremely unhappy with any plan that expected me to eat egg whites at breakfast or spaghetti squash instead of pasta. I'd never be able to do that for a week let alone the rest of my life.
  • Egg yolks contain most of the vitamins and nutrients in the egg. Yes the yolk also contains most of the fat and cholesterol but a whole egg can easily be fit into any healthy meal plan. No carbs after lunch is a bunch of BS. The body is going to handle carbs the same way no matter what time of day you eat them.
