  • I posted pics when I hit one year, they can be seen here... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/409883-one-year-and-89-lbs-later-w-pics I'll post pics again when I hit the big 100lb mark!
  • You have to put "A" weight on your driver's license, I chose not to use mine
  • I had lost a bunch of weight, then I started Prozac and I gained all the weight back pretty quickly. I'm not sure if it was a side effect of the medication that casued me to gain the weight back, or that I was OCD about what I ate and the Prozac got that under control, or if the Prozac just made me stop being concerned…
  • It does feel awesome! The milestones help me to see how far I've come and I know I can make it thru the home stretch!
  • You are well on your way! Congrats on your progress so far, that's awesome!
  • Welcome to ONEderland! I remember my ONEderland day, that was a god day  CONGRATS!
  • Thanks so much for your kind words and congratulations! It is so nice to have a place to talk about your accomplishments and not feel like people think you are boosting, just sharing in my excitement!
  • Thanks! And how mant calories do you think there are in metaphorical pudding?
  • This isn't my first time at the rodeo either  I lost 60 lbs my first time but they all came back and brought 40 of their friends! I'm hoping second time is a charm for me, and I think that with MFP I'll be able to maintain this time. Stick to it & stay motivated and success is almost guaranteed! MFP is an amazing…
  • Ekk, the pic in the middle is April 2011, not 2010...
  • Of course, MFP! It makes me accountable every single day and there is so much great information & support on here  Other than MFP, plan ahead; it is much easier to control what you are going to eat and portion it out correctly if you take a few hours to plan and pack all your meals once a week. This has been the key…

  • Non-Scale Victory...we need a legend for all the little sayings and acronyms used on the message boards!
  • I change it up every couple months; at first I was on the elliptical everyday for at least 20 Minutes, then I did EA Sports Active 4 times a week, that lasted a couple of months until the time changed and the weather got nice and now I walk at least 4 times a week, just over 3 miles a day. I was going 4 miles a day, but I…
  • Oh, and log EVERYTHING everyday; all those little snacks and bites that seem like nothing add up to something ;)
  • Thanks for all the congrats everyone! It is so nice to enjoy these successes with people who are genuinely happy for one another :flowerforyou:
  • Amanda~ My biggest obstacle is portions, if you put it in front of me, I can put it away. I take time every Sunday to plan and pack all my meals for the week. If everything is individually packed, its much harder to go back for seconds  Also, exercise, exercise, exercise; it is never a question of whether or not I…
  • You look amazing! All your hard work is totally showing and you should be so proud of your accomplishment. Several years ago I lost a bunch of weight and people told me I looked good, but I never believed them. No matter how much I lost I was never satisfied, it was never enough. I then gained all the weight back (and then…
  • Welcome Jaidi! I'm so glad you decided to start using MFP again  I've been using MFP for almost 10 months and I can tell you it works, the key for me has been commitment. I know you can do this and I look forward to being here to witness your progress!
  • I'm going to my storage space tomorrow to pull a whole box out of storage of clothes that haven't fit in 8 years. They won't fit yet, but they will be a nice gauge of where I am and where I want to be. You are so not alone in holding on to small clothes to keep hope alive that you will fit into that awesome pair of jeans…
  • Ya'all are right, why make it easy to ever go back. If the pounds do start sneaking back on, I'll know it as soon as I need to buy new clothes, and I can start working at it again. I'm just a little gun shy since I've been thru this before and the first time I didn't hesitate getting rid of everything. I'll go back thru…
  • Thanks everyone! And a special thanks to stefaniee83, I had looked before and couldn't figure it out, but I found it now so my ticker is accuarte
  • I am in the exact same place, my goal is still considered 20 lbs over weight. My plan is to get there (since I have a lot of really cute clothes for that weight), see how things go with maintaining, and then see how I feel about being that weight. If after a while I feel I should keep going forward, then I will. Talk to…
