  • how long is your plateau been? I have lost 50 lbs in 5months and my weight loss has been pretty consistent. I am assuming you are starting to lift so that is probably looking as though you are not losing cause obvisouly the muscle weighs more than fat rule starts to apply. I having been losing 10lbs a month. But the last 2…
  • I joined MFP because i had trouble controlling my weight. So I am not going to come on here and become the expert on nutrition all of a sudden, when i can't control my waist line. MFP recommends not losing more than 2LBs a week so i am going to leave it up to the experts and take that advice. And when i workout MFP adds…

Because if i am not working out and just eating right then 1 bad day of eating can tend to compound into multiple days of bad eating. When I was eating like a slop i was probably eating 1200 calories PER meal breakfast/lunch/and dinner so it was an…

  • I have just been counting calories and calories only not worrying to much about bread vs meat and the weight is flying off. I would try the low carb diet but i know long term i can't keep that up, so i am not going to kill myself staying away from bread.
  • Of course it can be done, but Unless you have excellent self control with staying right at your calorie count it could be tough. When you are eating right and excersing one motivates the other as you begin to lose weight. If you are not excercising all it takes is one bad weekend before one bad weekend leads to an entire…
