I look forward to my yearly Roasted Chili Pumpkin Seed gorge. Roast pumpkin seeds with chili powder (and garlic powder if you like) to taste with a small amount of oil (1 tsp for 4 cups seeds when I made them this time) and a pinch of salt. 350 degrees until they are crispy and delicious.

My personal favorite. The directions are for stovetop but just putting everything in the crock pot on low when I leave for work and pureeing when I get home is about perfect.
