If your gym offers sessions with a trainer, then ask them for advice. They'll look at your fitness levels and goals and come up with a workout AND a nutrition plan. I'm a swimmer so anything that I can be in the water but mainly swimming laps, dancing, kickboxing, running, yoga, and sports. My dad plays in a rec volleyball league so when I'm home I'll go and play once a week

If you're eating one huge meal a day try and break it down into 3 smaller meals. Ideally you want to eat 5 small meals a day and drink lots of water. Also try fruit smoothies with a dash of whey protein. There are some really good recipes out there :)
