Thanks ladies! Today the munchies must've been in time out. I made sure to guzzle my water down as well. Sorry your daughter is going through this Cindy. So glad you aren't comforting with food. Such a big accomplishment. Alice you are brave! Barlovo glad you put things in perspective and kept it moving.

Congrats Cindy! You got this Megan.

It's that lovely TOM boy do I have the munchies! I've munched on rice cakes, portion control be damn. Aaaaargh! I'm going to fix myself some dinner and that's it. I'm glad it was rice cakes instead of my usual suspects. Plus I'll still be under my caloric goals but I don't like that I want to munch! Dinner, water, deep…

Barlovo, talk with your nutritionist and see what she/he recommends. Sounds like you need some satiating foods so that you can feel full. Also, explore the idea of rating your hunger to make sure it's true hunger and not hunger out of habit. Cindy, 30 minutes is great! Hope you have a great rest of the day. Here's to a…

My baby steps this week: 1. Continue drinking 4 cups of water daily. 2. Continue eating 3 meals/2 snacks daily. The weekends are hard because I tend to snooze/lounge through breakfast. 3. Continue preparing dinner at home at least twice. Remembering that when I do eat out it must be nutritious. 4. Finish reading Women Food…

Agness good job with not eating after 9pm. You can do this, never forget that. We get in our heads and fill it up with junk. Once we get our minds healthy, the rest will follow! Cindy you go girl, 45 minutes of exercise is excellent! You better feel accomplished and proud! Yaaay. Alice great steps and awesome affirmation!…

Hi Grooszeczka! Cindy is right we're here for you and you're in the right place! Cindy gave you great ideas that I use multiple times a day. It's so easy to revert back to old habits. Hey ladies just checking in. I'm noticing that after work I feel anxious. I wanted to swing the store and pick up some comfort food. It was a habit of mine but I'm slowly moving past that.

Welcome Golfah40! Have you thought about making a plan to phase exercise back in? First week 2-3 times, next week 3-4 times; something like that?

I'm doing good! I was off today and I stuck with it. My days off usually involve me binging on my comfort foods. I stuck with my meal plan and I survived. I got the munchies so I munched, on nutritious food, with portion control! I don't have any mantras yet but I'll come up with some. We're on our way ladies.
-
You ladies are killing it! We are on our way to healthy!

I almost gave into a moment of doubt but I stuck with it. I stuck with my meal plan but it was rough. I'm still chugging along.

Sindnjim, you're going to have buns of steel B) Keep at it! Spinnyjenn, I'm not a morning person either. Sindnjim definitely has it right and I have to try that recipe. The trick is to get something quick. I love pb&j in the morning; I toast my bread, slap on the pb&j and I'm out the door. You should find quick and…

I'm sure the dietician will go over things in great detail. Breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day. I just changed my idea of what breakfast is. It's any food that I want it to be. Within reason of portion control and calories of course. One of my favorite breakfasts is a pb&j! I can make it and go! I have…
