Congrats! That's the best feeling

Live and let live. If it bothers you that bad I would say go to another gym, but I'm guessing you won't be able to find one up to your standards anywhere. Locker rooms smell, it's a gym! If you dont need to shower after your workout, you're not working hard enough. I personally shave everyday because that's the way I like…

Saying this photo just made my day is the biggest understatement ever. Your stomach is freaking gorgeous!! Congrats.

I'm a big believer in happy mediums. I personally don't wear a lot of makeup, but don't begrudge those that do. We all should feel free to do what makes us happy. The only thing I am not a fan of is when girls cannot go a day without makeup, or they wear so much they look like a different person without it. Everyone should…

I currently do an INSANITY/P90X hybrid for my workouts, I have done both P90X and INSANITY individually before, they are great programs but intense. I would not recommend Insanity for anyone's first workout program. Definitely work up to it. I have also done the 30 Day Shred, that would be a great workout to start with…

Current: 159 Goal: 125 I'm hoping to really have made some progress by the new year, at least 20 lbs. I think that's manageable. I'm working out regularly and doing my best at steady nutrition.... Nutrition is definitely my weak point. I start a new workout program Monday. That's when my dad gets back from a 2-week trip.…

My high school was terribly cliquey, I hated it. But I was a floater really. I was President of the FFA, so I was part of the redneck crew. Was definitely a big part jock (went to college on an athletic scholarship) and i was also the homecoming queen. Homecoming queen sounds like the big popular girl, but I wasn't really.…

35 lbs is my exact goal, but 30 is pretty close an boy would I be happy with that. Count me in please! :)

Thanks everyone for the responses. I appreciate it so much! One thing I meant to put in the "about me" section that I forgot... I have never had a back injury, but have been in plenty of collisions playing sports. I played softball and field hockey through high school, played field hockey in college. I can't remember…

Turned 23 last week. Feel free to add!

<my best friend Peyton!! She is the sweetest thing in the world. Severely abused before I got her, but still happy and full of love. I actually did a blog post about her http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/LeighAnna115 .. For the animal lovers like me.

Such a difference already! You look great!

YouTube has millions of quick workouts you can use. I use Pilates videos from there all the time

Hey all, I'm actually on a P90X/Insanity hybrid so today was P90X Shoulders & Arms for me. I really enjoy this workout, very low key in comparison to the rest of the week. I'll probably jump on the elliptical later to try and get a little mild cardio work in. Hope everyone is doing well!

So I know I'm wayyyy late here, but I also do insanity... Anyone mind if I join in? This morning was Plyo Cardio for me!

Hey there, I am actually a Zumba instructor so I have done LOTS of Zumba, haha! Zumba is quite effective for your midsection. Toning your stomach is really all about cardio and fat burning. Ab muscles will never be visible until you burn the fat layer on top of your muscles. Zumba is primarily a aerobic workout, but the…

JJ Hardy I'm a huge baseball fan and even through the drought... Have always loved Baltimore. Go orioles :)

It is said the average person's weight fluctuates within 5 lbs every day, and can fluctuate up to 10 lbs in a day. It's probably a combination of actual fat loss and a low fluctuation due to any number of factors. I would enjoy the loss! But don't be upset if a little comes back next week. As another person said, this…

I'd chalk it up to your normal fluctuation. It happens. But a cold itself shouldn't cause weight gain. Normally when we're sick we alter small things in our day to day lives, exercise a little less intense, eat a little more comfort food. These could be minuscule changes you're not noticing, or it could be plain old water…

thanks everyone! i'm going to play around with it a little and see what feels best. i honestly like the accountability of weighing yourself daily but will have to give it a trial run. i don't think it would negatively impact my mood when fluctuations are highlighted but you can't be sure until you try it. i think i may…

I have a beautiful Plott Hound named Peyton, she's my profile pic. :) We think she's around 3.5 years old, but aren't sure. We adopted her from a rescue facility who took her from her previous owners because they abused her very badly. Happy to say that she is healthy and happy now though :) I can't imagine not having her…

I forgot to mention, P90X has a "Lean Version" where a few strength days can be switched out for more cardio, but most people still opt for the regular version. And since I included a week of what P90X would look like, here is what a week of Insanity would look like: Day 1: Cardio Fit Test Day 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit…

Hi there, I have done both Insanity and P90X, I am currently actually doing a hybrid of the two programs. Both programs are great and will provide stellar results. I highly recommend them. In general, Insanity is much more cardio based than P90X. Insanity is pretty much pure cardio, with your strength coming from the type…

I use Shakeology and love it. The chocolate flavor, NOT the green, that's def not as tasty. Haha. It is a very well made meal replacement shake, the best I've found. But yes, overpriced. The reason I still use it is its worth it to me for my health. Yes it's expensive and no it's not priced fairly. But that's how it is…
