I don't think sites such as MFP are good for either anorexics or those recovering from anorexia. Tracking your food will only lead you back down the same path; additionally, I think this site is populated by a number of anorexics who're looking for some attention (not saying you are, just giving another reason why this…

And you lack reading comprehension skills. I don't care to read about EM2WL, I'm doing fine. I said it should be made clear to people like the OP. Maybe point that person to whatever group you're talking about. I don't give a crap about it.

Then that needs to be made clear, because perhaps this person is eating at TDEE and then thinking they should eat more. That's why telling people to eat more doesn't work for everyone. Plus, I really don't believe in starvation mode.

This. It really comes down to calories in and out. Eating over your TDEE is not going to get you where you need to be. Also, I don't of many fat anorexics (though I"m not advocating developing anorexia), so yeah, eating less will get you thin, period.

I did! I went for regulating my hormones and weight loss. From March to now, I lost 30 pounds, no lie! You do have to find a good acupuncturist, though. A lot are pretty useless

There are so many anorexic girls seeking (and, sadly, getting) attention on here that I sometimes wonder if this is pro-ana site. For those girls, the OP does nothing. They won't just eat. A few have come one here to say that. That being said, I eat under 1200 all the time. I've always worked out and maintained a healthy…

This!! I'm 5'1" and 42, no matter what weight goals I put in, I'm told 1200 calories. Maintenance is 1280. I think that for people at our height, we need to go below 1200 to achieve weight loss.

I'm 5'1", 42. SW was 122 in February, CW hovers between 93-95, and I'm looking to stay there. I don't have much muscle, but would love to acquire some!

You can friend me. I'm 5'1" and 40-something and have lost 30 pounds since February. You can friend me.

I'm turning 42 next week and my weight started ballooning two years ago, right around the time my FSH levels started going nuts. Anyway, I found the best way to lose and control my weight has been through rigorously counting calories (at my height, I stay under 1200 most days) and through steady weight lifting. The biggest…

Actually, I think you look thinner than you claim. What kind of workouts do you do? You have great muscles!

I was in Wellbutrin for two years about five years ago. I lost over 20 pounds while on it.

I'd like to point out that I still have curves.

I'm 5'1" and 95kbs. I have small bones and am pretty curvy. The two posters who are my height and weigh 107 look thinner than I do. I agree that it's all in your frame.
