It was a good month overall. I was a little frustrated when I only lost .4 for this week, but when I look back at the month as a whole, it was a successful month. Feb. 1= 208.6 Feb. 12= 206.8 Feb. 18= 202 Feb. 26= 201.4

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I did change my workout routine this week to less intensity because I have a back injury. Maybe that's why I didn't lose as much as I had hoped to. I hoped that even though I had to decrease intensity, if I increased the number of minutes that I exercised, that maybe it would all…

Lost only .6 this week. Somewhat discouraging because I have been working out 60-90 minutes each day, and staying at about 1600 calories. Does anyone have any advice? Don't know if it's a plateau, or if I wasn't eating enough to compensate for the amount of working out I did. Any ideas?

I agree. Don't weigh yourself the day after a day of eating more than you normally would, or after foods that you normally wouldn't eat. I have found that the night before I weigh in, I can only eat protein and a veggie, and not eat after 7:00pm. If I eat any carbs at all, I will weigh 1-3 pounds heavier the next morning.…

Thanks! I think you are both very right. I definitely feel like I have been retaining water, and yes, I increased my workouts quite a bit last week. I took Sunday off, but I was coaching a volleyball tournament, and the only options of food were high in sodium, and processed foods. Very unhealthy stuff, so the weight gain…

Very strange, but I am up almost a pound. Doesn't make much sense because I worked out tremendously hard last week, and thought I did well on the eating. I'll have to examine my meals and makes some changes. Something isn't working, because as much as I worked out, I would have thought that I would have lost several pounds…

Weighed in this morning. 218. Up one pound from the holidays, I guess I should be thankful it was only one! It could have and should have been a lot worse. Hang in there everyone. The holidays are over, and now we can really focus on our goals, stick together, and accomplish what we want!

Yeah, Jillian Michael's diet pills just came out on the market. I read somewhere that the show allowed the contestants to use her pills the last two seasons. Who knows if they work or not. I was just curious if anyone had tried them

My goal this week is to just really try to be on target with my caloric intake. I have been slightly over a few times, but staying within the range most of the time.
