I took a prenatal several months before I got pregnant. My doctor told me it was good for me as well, and that it might actually help me get pregnant. Don't know if that's accurate or not, but I did take one. Ever since I found out that I am pregnant though, I can't take them. They make me vomit. Any kind of vitamin now…

Kiffy- So sorry to hear the news. My thoughts are with you right now. Sending lots of love your way!

Yes, definitely let me know what the doctor says about your calories. We are similar in weights, so I am interested in hearing what the doctor has to say. Thanks!

I was having some pain on the right side the other day. I called the doctor, and the nurse said "The doctor thinks you're probably okay, but if you want to come in for an ultrasound, we have time, and the doctor said it might help ease your mind". Well, who wouldn't take an opportunity to get an ultrasound if they were…

Sorry! Weighing in late. I lost almost a pound this week. So that's fine with me. I am still hoping that I will lose a couple more in the next few weeks before I start putting on the weight. Since finding out that I am pregnant, I have been diligent about only eating healthy, nutrient rich foods. That's been helping. The…

I have an idea of when my last period was, but I am not totally sure, so that's why I say I think I am about 7 weeks along. My period was very irregular, occurring anywhere from 30-47 days, and I wasn't paying too much attention to it. I am hoping I am about 7 weeks. That would be great. When did you all tell your families…

I think I am about 7 weeks. I have my appointment with my doctor in two weeks, so will hopefully have a better idea of how far along I am at that point. It doesn't even seem real to me yet! I am in a bit of shock. :)

I would like to join this group if it's still possible. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. I recently lost 30 pounds over the last few months, and now get to gain it all back! I am hoping with this site, I will learn more about being pregnant, and staying healthy so that I don't put too much back on. This is my…

I lost 26 pounds in about 11 weeks. It is possible, but takes an enormous amount of dedication and commitment. I work out 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day. I keep my calorie count to around 1500. I don't drink alcohol right now, and keep the carbs minimal. You can do it though. Good luck!

3/5= 197.8 3/5= 194.2 Down 3.6 from last week! Terri, I have been doing that treadmill workout that you posted, and I think it really helped. Thanks for the idea!

That's exactly what I do too. If I completely forbid myself of things that I am craving or really enjoy, then I can't forget about it, and want it even more. So, I allow myself those things in moderation to satisfy the craving. Perfect example is last night my husband and I went to our favorite ice cream store. In the past…

Check out the Fiber One products. They all have signifcant amounts of fiber. I usually eat one Fiber One bar a day, and it gives me 8 or 9 grams of fiber, which is a third of the daily recommendation. Also Kashi cereals, nuts, popcorn, etc. are all good sources of fiber.

Count me in for this month. Didn't weigh today. Weight as of last Friday was 201.4. Goal for March is 196.
