The tenderloin recipe sounds delicious! I've saved it for future use.

Here's one of my favorite healthy meals, for a crowd. Bone-in chicken breasts, with skin removed. Cook briefly in microwave to heat through. Spray chicken with olive oil and rub well with this mixture: equal parts brown sugar, salt, ground cumin, ground coriander, black pepper, paprika. Grill at medium heat for about 8-10…

I found that book to be soooo depressing.

The main thing you need to do is stretch your calf muscles, which in turn stretches your Achilles Tendon (in your heel) and this will help. Stand as though you are going to do lunges - one leg in front with knee bent, the other stretched out behind you. Keep BOTH feet flat on the floor, and stretch out the calf on the back…

Oh - and turkey bacon! I cook it under the broiler and it tastes great. More calories than Canadian Bacon, but sometimes it's worth it. =)

I eat pretty much the same things for breakfast, when I eat it. I make steel-cut oats and keep them in the fridge to re-heat in the microwave. I'll have them with a tsp. of butter, and coconut palm sugar and cinnamon, along with 1 or 2 hard-boiled eggs. Or - 80 calorie vanilla Greek yogurt with frozen blueberries & bananas…

I'm not the real Mona Lisa.

Rofl - yes. Because..... why?

Spanx. lol And I always used the rubber-band trick, to make the waist of my pants an inch or two bigger. I also used to remove & re-sew buttons on shirts and pants to give myself an extra tiny little bit of room.

Love the recipe, and love the Paris Hilton comments even more! Thanks for the chuckle. =)

Yes! The BBC version of House of Cards was excellent! Better than the US version, by far.

Homeland! Watched the entire first two seasons in one weekend. It was awesome.

No....but thinking about drinking a Sam Adams Summer Ale tomorrow!

I am a loner when it comes to most exercise. When I have tried to "buddy-up" with a friend to do any kind of exercise program it's been a total failure. If one person craps out, it could sabotage your plans for the day. If both do show up, it puts constraints on how long/how much/how hard you work. In the end, I found…

I am so with you on the grits thing! and hominy in general.

Cupcakes. Chocolate. Ice cream. Twizzlers. If it weren't for my DH and son I'd never buy them.

I wish there were foods I could not eat. Unfortunately, the entire world of food is my oyster. Mmmmmmm.....oysters! :drinker:

My friend recently got a Peke-a-Poo-Mo and he is an amazingly adorable, sweet dog! Not too big, high energy. (Pekingese, Poodle, American Eskimo mix).

German Shepherd Yellow Lab Rottweiler Doberman Poodle (standard or miniature) Greyhound and last, but not least - Dachshunds. Because they are just so goofy and stubborn.

Yesterday it was Samuel Adams Summer Ale. Yum!

+1 for this acknowledgement of diet/weight/food/nutrition insanity

And here I didn't even know there WERE big-boy pants....

I totally agree with this. I lost about 20 lbs. on the 'old' WW program, my DH lost 55 lbs. And we kept it off for 5+ years. I looked at the new points system when my neighbor began WW, and I tried it for about 6 weeks. For me, it wasn't worth the money. Too free-floating, and non-nutrient oriented. MFP has been what I…

I'm 15% smaller than I think I am, and I'm a "Perfect Rectangle." Just the figure every woman wants.
