  • I am a newbie too! Just started December 1st, and have lost 7 pounds so far!! A friend of mine told me about MFP, and I have loved it ever since. I love the support and encouragment. I am always looking for moral support and can give it out as well....if ya want you can add me as a friend!! Keep up the good work!!:happy:
  • I agree!! I am also 5'9", pushing 5' 10", and I am overweight now, but will glady be called "plus size" if I can get to my goal weight o f 175!!!! The standards for women now are so distorted!! I wouldn't look good at the "reccommended" weight of 126!!! Crazy!!!!!
  • Yep it's usually about 15 minutes to do the one mile! I love doing those.....I have her 1, 2 3, and 4 mile dvd's and do them when the weather is bad!
