  • I actually see Eliza Dushku! (PS: If you haven't seen Dollhouse, you're missing out!) Edit: Uhhh... apparently her Google Images aren't as tasteful as what I'm remembering from the show. o_O
  • On behalf of everyone on MFP (even those who don't want me to), I apologize for sarcasm and rudeness. It's easy to get behind a computer and say anything we want that we would never say in person. It's a sad thing, to be honest. Mind you, I'm not void of being a jerk sometimes, but I honestly try not to and am sincerely…
  • We buy frozen. We pay about... $22-24 for a good 15-20 chicken breasts or so at a place here called "No Frills". Honestly, we just thaw out the chicken and find that it's always really juicy. I haven't noticed a difference between that and fresh. I say just avoid buying anything that's pre-seasoned or anything. Get a…
  • I eat meat and I love it... that's about as much of a "debate" as you'll get out of me. I mean, if someone's going to be vegan, just make sure they're getting well-rounded nutrients and proteins! If someone (like me) loves meat, make sure not to eat in excess. Because of my dairy allergy I *AM* forced to use vegan…
  • My wife's been struggling with the same thing on and off. What she's finding is that she has to cut out refined sugars completely (or at least, as much as possible) and get her sugars from fruits and the like. I mean, I'm just "throwing the spaghetti against the wall" here on this one. It's making a huge difference for her…
  • Mmm. Maybe that's exactly what I was taught and I had forgotten it! Thanks for that! I guess I was just getting flamed by the semantics police indeed. Once again, much appreciated.
  • I honestly didn't know that. I had been taught (both in schools and by people who were lifters and everything) that muscle weighs more than fat. So thanks for the clarification. Sorry if I hit any nerves by stating what I had been taught my whole life, and thank you for the correction!
  • One thing I've noticed is a lot of people who spend time working out and doing a lot of cardio end up putting on muscle, while losing the waistline. Muscle ways much more than fat, so don't feel discouraged! The issue isn't necessarily about weight, but health. If you're eating healthy, losing those inches like you desire,…
  • Glad you're on here dude!! Feel free to add me if you'd like! I definitely need some encouragement as well. Haven't added many dudes as of yet, and definitely should start. Especially since I'm going to be figuring out how to do strength training from home in a few weeks here. If you need any motivation or anything, be…
  • Actually, a really good friend of mine has a Hiatal Hernia. It was a headache at first, but she seems to be getting the hang of it now. I'll see if I can get her to shoot you a msg!
  • Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions. Sounds like I need to relax a little bit, stop being so hard on myself, and actually start planning my day a lot more. I think you're all right. I'm procrastinating way too much and need to just get my priorities straight. No gym, chores, and priorities = no games. For…
  • That's EXACTLY what I used to do. I'd get up and have something very small (since I didn't eat in the mornings very easily anyway), otherwise I'd get sick. After I worked out, I would have something high in protein. Used to work well for me.
  • Hey man, I don't really see any extra skin there. I see some natural curve due to abs giving a shape around your belly button. Looks totally fine man! Just keep up with the running and eating well and you'll do well!!!
  • On Celexa (citalopram hydrobromide) and it hasn't caused any issues at all. :-) My only issue really has been dry mouth on and off, causing me to drink an insane amount of water (oh darn. Staying hydrated). There were some sexual side-effects, and I have to take it at a specific time of the day or it messes me up slightly,…
