I'm so sorry for your loss, Jim. I lost my grandma almost 2 years ago. Good for you that you're staying strong and healthy! Just gotta keep that positive mindset!

Thanks, Brent!

Just finished day 11 (a Sweat and Abs day). Yesterday should have been day 11, but I have to confess -- I had some alcohol on Sunday, more than I'm used to (when I drink, it's maybe 1-2 drinks every couple of months -- I'm not sure HOW much I drank on Sunday :embarassed:) and was pretty hung over yesterday. Good reminder…

Dinner with friends over the weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and our friend's 30th birthday, and ON Valentines we have our first preconception appointment with the OB. :blushing: I'm just a little giddy about that! (Not preggers yet, just getting the ball rolling.)

Thank you! :blushing:

Just finished day 10! Woke up with lady cramps today (sorry if that's TMI, fellas! :embarassed:) but I was NOT going to let that stop me from getting my workout done! I ate a BIG, HEALTHY breakfast, took a couple Excedrine, and promised myself I'd get through the workout, even if it meant working at 1/2 my usual intensity.…

I love them all, but TNG/DS9 are my favorites (and I've only seen a few episodes of Enterprise. ONE of these days I'll actually watch that series.) The hubby and I are actually in the middle of a TNG/DS9 marathon. We watched "The Nagus" ep. of DS9 tonight.

Thank you! It's all about taking it one day at a time and NOT giving up! If you have a slip up, you learn from it and move on. Giving up is the only sure way to fail. Every small success is worth the effort! :flowerforyou:

Thank you so much!

Thank you! :drinker: I will!

Thank you! The mindset took time to cultivate, but it's all tied together -- the physical/mental/emotional -- they all take work.

You might want to look around the boards for posts along the lines of "losing the last 10 lbs" or something to that effect. There will probably be some helpful information there! I'm definitely in a different position than you (about 40 lbs from goal weight) but it's my understanding that the last 5-10 is a struggle for…

Hi everyone! May I join you? I just started week 2 (P90 levels 1-2) today. I did one round of P90 last year, but didn't complete the full 90 days. I don't like that I left it unfinished, so I'm going for a full round this time. I've modified the schedule a bit -- I'm doing 5 days per week instead of 6 (3 cardio days, 2…

Aw, thanks! That's Sienna, the oldest of my three cats. I've had her for 10 years. She's a brat, but I love her.

Me too! :drinker: I'm 5'2" (or just shy thereof) and currently 168. My highest weight was 210, my goal weight is 130. I joined MFP December '09 and lost 40 lbs in about six months, then ended up maintaining for about 6 months after the initial drop. Now I'm back at it, trying to lose the last 40 and get to my goal weight.…

It's probably because you are so close to a healthy weight -- that's just the nature of the beast, the more you have to lose, the easier it comes off (barring any complications like thyroid disease, etc.), the less you have to lose, the harder it is to take it off. Just be patient with yourself -- you're doing great!

I have the first four (Pure Burn, Super Strength; Cardio Conditioning; Yoga for the Warrior; and Bob's Workout). They. are. tough. GOOD, but tough. I absolutely LOVE his yoga DVD. I try to fit that in once a week -- it's wonderful. Haven't tried his kettlebell DVDs yet, but I'd like to get them eventually.

Woot! Welcome to the 160s, friend! :drinker:

Yeah, the 100 calorie snacks are good in theory -- and, if you are REALLY craving a snack (and who doesn't from time to time, right?) it is really nice to have them reasonably portioned and ready to go -- but you can't live on 'em. Have a great day! :flowerforyou:
