Thanks for all of your input and ideas! I don't have a TV in my room and don't get to bed until I go to sleep.. I took some Benadryl and hoping it kicks in, in a bit. Haha, yeah I agree. It really is discouraging and staying off the scale until you're almost done is a great idea. I tend to avoid it as well a few days before and during.

I really like Optimum Nutrition or Cellucor's protein powders. Currently I have Cellucor's cinnamon swirl flavor.. and it is amazingg. I like to blend a scoop with 4-5 ice cubes and some water or almond milk. They also taste good if you want to make protein pancakes.

I'm a big fan of Silk Pure Almond Unsweetened Vanilla or Plain almond milk and it's only 30 cals per serving. I usually mix it in with my protein shakes or use it in my recipes.. It's a great subsitute.

I bought into it about a yr and half ago.. waste of money and time.. It tasted really gross too. Not worth your money or time. Just stay within your recommended macros and drink a lot of water (shoot for a gallon a day) and, stay active and you will see results.

Have you looked into If it fits your macros? You can gain, cut...etc. It personalizes your macros and calories. You can find your macros on IIFYM.com (http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/). Macrofit also has a calculator (http://www.macrofit.com/macro-calculator/).
