Yeah I guess I'm just nervous about it....I usually run 10 and 1. But have done up to 16 steady at a much slower than normal pace. I am running the race with some friends so I think I will do 10 and 1. Thanks

I made the mistake of running my second race with music (which I don't usually do) and it threw everything off. I went too fast and faded out. I would say if music is what you are used to then use it. Good luck. EDIT just saw you did it already!! Congrats...

I am a 39 year old Mum of 2 boys (ages 6 and 4). I took up running 2 and a half years ago to lose weight...I weigh more now than I did then.
