According to my goals via this app my calorie goal is 1200 a day. Keep in mind that I am very short (4'11''). :) I'd be very happy to have some new friends that share the same goal. Feel free to add me... any of you!

I had my son 10 months ago and finally stopped just waiting for the baby weight to 'go away'. LOL I've been watching what I eat calorie-wise, making better decisions as far as food goes and I was walking a mile a day. Now that the cold weather has hit I have been doing workout "videos". I plan on signing up for a gym…

That's why I love the "scan" feature on my app. It takes all the info straight from the label.

I think it all boils down to portion control. Allow yourself to indulge and enjoy your favorites but scale down the portion size and eat more of the healthier things (white meat turkey) and less of the fattier things (candied sweet potatoes). I am hosting for the first time ever this year for the in-laws and I plan on…

I've found that SuperHummus (made with soybeans) is a great low calorie hummus. I eat it with veggies or spread on a whole wheat tortilla stuffed with veggies. I will also eat yogurt with some Kashi GoLean ceral mixed in (about 1/4 cup). And of course fresh fruit is always a great option. But make sure to add a serving of…

I am a married working mom of twin nearly-12 year olds (they will be 12 on Nov 15) and a 10 month old son. That statement alone should tell you…

Mine is to fit into the party dress I wore for my 30th birthday party.

When I eat dinner and I'm still hungry but don't want to go over on my calories I will make a bowl of salad with 1 tbsp lite italian dressing. It's nearly no calories and will fill me up. I also find that if I go for a walk or a job it'll help up those calories. If neither of those help then just eat smart even if you do…

I'm SO happy to see that I am not the only one struggling! Just like many stories I've read here I promised myself it wouldn't happen. That I wouldn't gain much back. But it happened. I had bypass 9/23/03. At the time I was nearing 300lbs. I was freshly 23 and had twin 2 year olds keeping me busy. I decided to have the…
