  • Oh. Em. Gee. Where in the world did you find that? That's is totally...hilarious in a really gross way! LOL
  • I understand makeup just because I never think to take it off before I workout - I wash my face AFTERwards when I shower. But the booty spandex shorts? Ew. No thank you! I stick to yoga pants.
  • A million times, this.
  • Ha. Yup, that's lame! LOL I don't know why I laugh every time. EVERY time. Tony jokes about his pants splitting in one DVD, and I laugh. Shaun T says "Is anyone else as scared as I am for this workout?" And I think it's adorable. EVERY time. I almost know Tony by heart and I laugh EVERY time!
  • Actually, I can read while on the elliptical, but it's true - it's not as much of a burn. With TV though...I'm always watching TV while I'm on the elliptical, and I do HIIT and do it HARD. Last time, I burned 400 calories in 50 minutes which, for a small person like me, is a LOT.
  • I never did until I met my husband. His family does it every year. But I don't really do it. My husband moves my team members around and stuff. LOL. I got the "toilet bowl" trophy the first 2 years and ALMOST won last year.
  • I needed to hear this one today. Thank you. I learned that I still have a long way to go before I'm in a place of peace. I've learned that it's okay and normal when my muscles swell after an intense lifting. I've also learned I still hate that swelling. :(
  • That is not a cool thing to say b/c I sweat like hell and still notice!!! LOL
  • Yes! I'm glad I"m not the only one who still laughs every, single time! I laugh at Tony Horton's silly jokes too. LOL
  • I think you may be right, but Shaun T is kinda...well, it's different. You have to keep your core super tight, and you do a lot of upperbody and lowerbody stuff. It's not weight lifting, but it's full-body stuff WITH cardio. But, I don't do just Insanity. I do a P90X/Insanity hybrid to get the lifting and the cardio.
  • I agree with you in part. I agree that once you stop eating something for a long time and eat much healthier, you lose your "taste" for certain things. Prime example: I gave up breads/pasta/rice a long time ago. Once in awhile, I'll smell a fresh donut or something baked and really want some. I figure, why not? And every…
  • I did that one last night, but I'm small and only burned about 200 calories. :( But I loved every minute of it, even as I hated it! LOL
  • This cracks me up! Because I agree that sometimes he can be annoying. But so can all instructors. I love him. I think he's gorgeous. I love his body. I love his workouts. But, I've noticed the same things you have, and it drives me crazy. What is it he says on Cardio Abs... "knees is" or something like that. LOL I don't…
  • This. And as others have reminded you, you have people to help look after your son. *hugs*
  • This. My husband's perfect.
  • I disagree. I work with a lot of people that are older than me. By decades. And I'm 31. I'm not going to meet someone at a bar, and I had no single friends with single friends of their own for me to meet.
  • I will always say that eharmony is awesome because it's how I met my husband! We've been together for 3 years, married for 2. And I met my best friend on a blogging site - turns out she lived right by me! We've been BFFs for...wow...going on 7 years now.
  • This, but I also switch up the programs and change the intensity levels of the programs to mix it up. And I also don't do it all the time. Only on my recovery weeks.
  • Yes! Agreed.
  • Friends is one thing. I don't have many guy friends, but I do have a few, both online and in person at work. My husband has one other female friend, though...he doesn't really talk to her. And we only see her when we arrange a playdate for our kids. Anyway...there's a difference between friends and cheating. I would never…
  • Got another one - I'm learning to listen to my body. When it needs food, I KNOW. When it needs protein, I feel differently than when it needs carbs.
  • I'm currently in recovery and reading Life Without Ed by Jenni Schaefer. An excellent read, and I'm looking for more people for a support group of those trying for recovery as well!
  • Good ones! I have to agree with the amazing support group here...and learning that food is not the enemy.
  • Well, I will say that today, I bought 10lb weights because today, even though I'm super sore from this morning's arms/shoulders workout (and still sore from chest/back on Sunday), I felt like, at least for biceps and shoulders, I can move from 8lbs to 10lbs!
  • This is what I do. I also may msg them and make sure they're aware of what they're doing. I don't necessarily delete them. However, I don't necessarily add them as friends if they request me either. It depends on the rest of their profile.
  • I have at least 2T of PB a day with my banana. Sometimes, I later have 1T on a Vitatop for dessert. YUM!
  • I'm similar to this. I'm 5'2 and have quite a heavy workout routine. I'm doing my own P90X/Insanity doubles hybrid. Right now, I'm aiming for about 1600/day. I know I need to up it, but I'm still getting comfortable with this and taking it a little bit at a time. I'm trying to lose, though I would like to gain muscle. I've…
  • My husband takes his socks off while laying on the couch. Not just his socks, but they are what annoys me because we end up with several pairs of socks scattered on the family room floor/couch if I don't pick them up or ask him to. Which he will, if I ask. But still...why can't you take them upstairs yourself without me…
  • I'll check it out! It occurred to me to promote here, but I HATE it. At one point, it took over my life, and I stopped writing altogether for awhile b/c I'd become OCD and kind of pushed my family to the background. Not the kind of author I want to be. I'm taking a much more laidback approach to it now.…
  • Um, I published through createspace.com to Amazon for free. There are other sites that do it also. Smashwords is another. If you do the research, it's out there. :) No software required to format.
