I do because it could have other things in than just calories. example diet soda doesn't have any calories but does have a lot of sodium in it even mustard while it does not have calories in one serving it does have an average of 55 mg of sodium in it and 5mg of potassium in it.

my deitation tells me that is fine but to try to keep the protein no higher than 30gm at one setting because more than that can be hard on our livers to break down the protein

In my mind I was not thinking of those who go to a gym but those who want to do things like yoga or workout dvds while giving each other encouragement along the way. there are some who would work out hard and more often if they knew someone was there with them.

I don't understand why people are taking it like this. bussiness uses skype or other programs like this all the type to conduct meetings. Why can't people use them in their home not the gym as it would cause issues there, to workout doing yoga, or step aerobics or the same dvd together.

I don't know how to use skype either. I have heard it is pretty easy. But I've never used. Heck never used a webcam either. I just thought it would be a great idea. and I guess I'm open to it too. lol would have to learn how to use the stuff in order to do so though.

ahh well to each their own. I just thought that with the way technology is and the higher rates of success someone can have by having a work out partner, that doing it this way for a person who does not have one could ba an answer to a lacking area and there by increase their workouts and how hard they push themselves

I do sometimes. Most days I don't, however, sometimes I feel really hungry and eat back some of those cal. However in the same aspect I don't always hit my min for the day without the exercise cal. so I think at the end of a week it all averages out

my gym is a small one and only has one. My hope is that the trainer is nice and helpful as I don't have any other options for a trainer if I decide to pay for her (she is 64 and does marathons all the time, and is the owners cuz. and is certified. that is pretty much all I know about her)

Actually you still can have a lot of things, it just about finding the alternatives to items you use to have. such as pasta I have found a pasta that anyone who has ever ate it never knew it was gluten free. I think it depends on the person. Ie myself I work up a sweat walking around the grocery store and am usually hurting by the time I'm done. Of course I have a lot more weight to loss more than most, thus daily things that people take for granted I often count

wow so I came on MFP to asking something similar. While i have never been a closet eater I have been one to eat when stressed. I thought about going to the gym but really I don't have the energy to go there. Any case i just was supprised to see your thread at a point when I so much feel like doing this.

great job you're doing great. I know what you mean about movement hurting. While I am not as big as you were at your highest I do have a bmi of over 60 and it hurts to walk for to long. I have tried many different greek yogurts (as I know they have higher protein counts in them) I have found I only like Choboena and only blueberry/raspberry flavor other than that I use yoplai light as far as yogurt is concerned

all I have is apple cin. gluten free oatmeal....how well do you think that would go within a smoothie? or can it be non instant too? I have some plain non instant gluten free
