No pictures of legs & feets till pedi gets done...this weekend. Must wait till after that...then...will show off my awesome knee scars from surgeries.

I have seen quite a few students propping their books up on their treadmills or bikes and studying while exercising.

I drink two 1 liters of water every day. I always carry it with me so temptation is never an option to drink anything else. In fact, had a diet coke earlier and tossed it and went back to water. I am however, not EVER going to give up my coffee in the morning at work.

I live in the Ozarks of Missouri. I am right in the corner of southwest Missouri that meets Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas. They call us the "Four States" because everything is within a few miles. I love the rolling hills filled with green trees and valley filled with small farms that have cows in the fields. I love the…

And for this reason is why I will not use it again. ;-) Seriously...trust nothing. I have found that I am more successful with logging and maintenance with overwhelming support that I have from home and from here at MFP then I ever was with swallowing a pill.

HEY YOU! Yes, you!! No, not you, you! PUT THAT CANDYBAR DOWN! As a stress eater, can appreciate this problem. However, not having the stuff around makes it harder to enjoy. Don't buy it, ever. Walk away from the inner aisles of the stores and stick to the outsides. Have your friends help you. Send a quick text message to a…

Sometimes they add a powder mix which can contain lots of sugar, so be careful with that.

Being on here has made me so much more aware of what I am intaking. I have learned so much especially from the experiences of others, to include what to and not to enjoy.

I have an underactive thyroid because mine was surgically removed! (hahaha) Talk about a battle...

I get sherbert when going out with the hubby. I get a junior or small cone, single only or in a cup.

Toilet paper has to be over not under. Towels must folded a certain way and put away, even if hubby does fold them, I have to refold them my way. (tri-folder here) Must use a certain restroom at work, if occupied, may come back later. (the middle one) No shoes in house, but slippers are ok. Milk must go two days before…

I am not a huge breakfast person at all. I really don't like eatting anything in the morning. I am a cup of coffee with a splash of flavored cream (non-fat and I won't give the stuff up ever, one would have to pry my cup from my cold dead hands). I do, however, drink occasionally one of the cappachino delight…

Hello and welcome to your journey on MFP. I am curious, but prior to having WLS, isn't there a lot of counseling and appointments involved? Are there classes to instruct and weigh the pros and cons? I know that there is still very few insurances that will cover this procedure, so I imagine that the cost is also a huge…

No rice, pasta, noodles, or fried to start with. I know that the place here makes me a pretty mean and lean chicken and vegtables stir fried with no msg added.

I would see your physician to be checked for diabeties. A prime symptom is excessive thirst and the desire to drink large quantities of water.

I wish that I could wear my old Army Class A jacket. I was a seven then. (sigh)

A taste is a taste - not a huge bite. You do not have to take a whole bite of the cake to taste it. Indulge a little and taste the fares the caterer is fixing (or hoping to) for you. It will be enough to sample the pleasures but not overindulge. This is your wedding and you want it to perfect for you both. As far as the…

That must be that 'contents may settle' thing.

Hello Kentucky from Missouri! Good luck on your new start!

Isn't that awesome! I can't believe how wonderful it feels to be able to slide my pants on without having to do the jean dance. You know - the wiggle wiggle, bend bend, lay down on bed, hold breath and button, get up, wiggle wiggle, bend bend.

Some days - we all just need to cry. Having one son gone and one wayward can make it stressful for anyone, then you are adding the stress of dieting. Perhaps you should go out and grab and coffee with a friend and just have that person listen to everything that is going on with you. A little companionship might be just the…

I have both negative and postive little words that have changed my life: Negative - "Nobody will ever want you." - Ex-husband prior to our divorce 18 years ago. Postive - "Wow! Mom, you can fasten your bra all the way closed!" - My goobergirl this afternoon as I was getting ready for work. In other words, I didn't have to…

My daughter is 6 foot tall. She weighs in at 145. She is VERY happy with that. She looks fantastic at a size 8ish. She is always talking about how some think that she weighs more some less, but to her, that is the perfect weight. Even the doctor told her so. I am very proud that she doesn't want to lose anything. She is…

Work...then home. Have to inventory my AVON that finally arrived so I can deliver to my customers this weekend. They have been so patient while waiting for it to come it. UPS said it would be delayed because of the blizzard and such, but enough is enough. Then I will be putting on my jeans, which are MUCH looser and I can…

My Thursday actually started while at work. I am very much looking forward to the seven o'clock hour when I can bundle up tight, brave this arctic weather in Missouri and head home. I can only hope my car starts this morning. Then when I wake up in a few hours because I really can't sleep during the day, I am going to head…

A mini success is a great thing. I was cleaning off my dresser and found not just a bag of peanut M-M's, but a 2 pound bag of them! Talk about a test of wills. I was very nice, I tossed it right into the trash. The whole un-opened bag. I do miss them so bad. But I do miss my ol' bod more. As far as loosing patients, I hate…
