  • If I weight myself day to day, I get huge fluctuations. A lot of that is just water weight. Working out, strength training, etc will also make you hold on to water. The suggestion to fix it is to actually drink more water.
  • Thats kind of expected. A lot of people jump on New Years to get their resolutions going, then they forget or get back to doing what they were doing before. Its easy to forget that losing weight or getting fit is a huge lifestyle change, and people really gotta be dedicated to making that change. Simply "resolving" to do…
  • You gotta avoid "cheats" like that. Even if its tempting to think that youll burn more calories eating those foods, all that will happen in the end is that youll sabotage your own weight loss. It also adds an unnecessary layer of complication to your diet. Just stick with the standard calorie counting, dont try to cheat…
  • If youre just trying to lose weight, it doesnt matter what you eat, as long as your calories are under control. If youre trying to build muscle and bulk up, thats a whole other mess. But you could eat nothing but Twinkies and still lose weight, as long as you keep your calorie intake in a deficit. For me, I found that I…
  • Theres those Hostess 100 calorie snack packs... er oh wait
  • I didnt find it too bad. The instructions were pretty similar to a lot of the non-creamy soups.
  • I liked it. It smells like buttered popcorn coming out of the microwave. I havent found myself needed to doctor it up at all.
  • Thats great and all, but everyone comes in here stating that it is and that it isnt. If youre going to make big claims like that, you need to back it up with scientific proof. And by that I mean linking to real references, not some guys blog.
  • A berry strudel
  • Only 7? Last year my doctor told me even if I lose 10 lbs in a year, that is much better progress than none at all, or worse yet gaining. To me that sounds like an accomplishment to have lost 7 lbs. Keep losing every month, and that all adds up. No need to rush it. You rush it too fast and then you wind up with loose skin,…
  • Just how cold I am. It this what thinner people have been dealing with all their life? Also the compliments on losing weight and looking better. I never got compliments when I was bigger. It feels pretty nice. But being so unaccustomed to it, I dont know how to deal with the compliments. But still no attention from girls…
  • I was 100% on Medifast for 6 months up until December. Its essentially a low carb diet. Under 100 grams a day. The idea with that diet is that you put yourself into a mild state of ketosis, plus a calorie deficit, so you lose a ton of weight relatively quickly. In that time I lost the majority of this 100 lbs. So my take…
  • Ive never really had a problem with soda. I cut it out a several years ago, mostly to cut caffeine out of my diet. Back then I was drinking 2 liters of Mountain Dew every day at work. These days I might have a diet soda now and then, but it doesnt trigger any cravings or anything like that.
  • Why not just do the whole real meal replacement diet, rather than half assing it? Thats what I started doing 7 months ago. I went with Medifast. Worked pretty damned well, and you get to have more than just some shakes, which honestly get real boring real fast. The whole diet revolves around low carb food, so its not…
  • I feel like Im on the same boat as you, but I had about 25 more lbs to start with. Almost the same weight now too. Ive been kinda stalled on the weight loss though, as Ive started to lift weights. Awesome work man, good luck getting to your goal!
  • Not only does that stuff have a nasty texture, but so does the watery ketchup pre-cum that comes out of that first squeeze. Urgh! Gotta toss it of course!
  • Doesnt seem to work for me. I have a pretty large calorie deficit. Its been saying Id be below 200 lbs for 3 months now.
  • Loosing weight so that I could hopefully find a significant other. Kind of hard to do when youre way fat and not attractive. But thats not my primary reason. I want to lose weight for health reasons. Also when I turned 30 I got super depressed about it. This seemed like a good solution to resolve that depression. Been…
  • Youve got a lot more bone definition in your face now! looking good!
  • Wow, quite the change! You were cute before and now youre just super hot!
  • I love nuts. The Peanut Butter are good, but the texture leaves you wanting more. But really I love them all.

  • Ive been having sugar cravings lately. Its strange, since I held out for 6 months or so without any craving for it. But this last week, craving cake, cookies, chocolate, etc. Ive let myself have a little though.
  • I eat whenever. I just had dinner at 11 PM. As long as Im still within my calories, its all good. The proof is in the pudding vvv
  • I hear ya. Ive lost 100 lbs, but when I look in the mirror, I still see the big gut and man boobs Ive always had. To me, I still look thet same. I guess Ive still got a ways to go.
  • Just gotta know what to buy. Avocados are expensive anywhere you go. Gotta stick to the cheap stuff! Lettuce, beans, potatoes, zucchini, tomatoes, etc. Beef is especially expensive, but not always "healthy." Check out chicken. I can typically get like 5 chicken breasts for about 7 bucks. Fruit will be expensive depending…
  • My problem is my ribs. When I sleep, the bottoms protrude out enough that it gets annoying when I sleep on my chest. And if I sleep on my back, my hands can feel the bones and it feels gross...
  • "HOLY ****" Is what I would say. Damn, you look awesome!
  • I use Hidden Valley Light Ranch. Its good stuff, 1 serving is 31grams (which is more than enough for 2 cups of shredded lettuce). 80 calories, 4 grams of fat, 3 grams of carbs. Its really no different than something thats supposedly healthier like Newman's Olive Oil and Vinegar.
