It is total calories burned. I have it linked to MFP so it accounts for my total calories burned to come up with my suggested daily calorie intake. Like yesterday, it gave me an extra 600 calories which seemed like a lot since I didn't really do any type of full work out. I am carrying a lot of relatively new weight around…

Yup, I agree with eat what you normally do. Just eat a portion that fits into your calorie goal. Over time, you will realize what foods are worth the calories/portions size and which foods simply are not worth it. If you give it time and figure out what works for YOU, you will be successful at this! If you listen to some…

Don't worry about tracking on a cruise. I went on a cruise after around 100 days of daily logging, I was concerned too before I went. But I ended up deciding to just eat and enjoy my cruise. I didn't go overboard on the eating though. Some things I did, if I took it and didn't really enjoy eating it, I didn't. Stop eating…

I would go to the Dr for a check up, and stop eating such a restrictive diet. I had a serious issue of swelling and oversupply AFTER my first pregnancy. My blood pressure and everything was perfect through the entire pregnancy, but then it shot through the roof after I gave birth. I was miserable and swollen every where. I…

Hi. I am sending you a friend request. I started last July with a goal to lose about 130, I am not quite half way there yet but I keep chugging along. I also log daily, the good, the great and the oh so very ugly sometimes.

What did your Dr tell you to do then? I had a doctor tell me I needed to eat no more than 1100 calories a day while I was breastfeeding a newborn. Uhm... Yeah, that did not work and I quickly gave up completely. I have learned over the years that Doctors know a lot about a lot of things but they don't know everything about…

Mine is at 1200 calories. Because I am short. :-(

I have had Mirena for 4 yrs. Other than no monthly AF, I wouldn't even know it was there.

It is Disney. So soda will be included. And they give out lots of candy for the kids on halloween. And the Mickey Bars from room service... That is probably one of my favorite parts, relaxing on the balcony eating a Mickey bar with the kids as we pull into or out of port. And I wasn't serious thinking I was really going to…

OK, I am not actually getting close to my max heart rate then. I was going by the heart rate charts I see online.

But I have still have 100+ lbs to lose with a goal of 2lbs per week, so my end weight shouldn't be making any difference at this point with over a year to go.
-
I tend to stay steady for 3-4 days then drop 0.5-1 lb a day for a couple days then stay steady again, repeat.
-
I do. My vice is 8 ounces of Mountain Dew for breakfast 4-5 days of the week. 110 calories.

Great, next thing you are going to try to tell me is that the organic chocolate cake with organic cheese puffs and organic lemonade (with no HFCS of course) my kids had for lunch is what is making them fat! :noway:

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up for me too. I was extremely athletic in HS, always tiny, never needed to worry about what I ate. My nick-name was even skinny-mini. Then I went to college... Then I had a few kids, one with special needs and I made the unexpected decision to become a stay at home mom, I think I then turned…

I really don't have any advice but would love to offer you the support to keep breast feeding. I completely understand what you are going through. I gained a lot of weight the first year after each of my kids were born, I was insanely hungry all the time! I was actually excited my second pregnancy because I was eating…

Awesome! Great job.

Now I have to call myself out. I wrote this post, then got up to get my daughter some cereal, and what did I do that I actually haven't done in a long time? Shoved a small hand full of Life cereal in my mouth without thinking.

Are you eating your toddler's scraps? This is where my extra calories kept coming from and how I put on a bunch of weight. Cut the crusts off a sandwich, I ate them. MAde 4 mini pancakes instead of the 3 they want and would eat, I ate the fourth. Licked the butter knife after making a PBJ sandwich. The ends of a banana…

I have a 4 year old daughter and a 6 year old son with special needs.

I have two children. Both raised the same way, breastfed exclusively for 6 months then only homemade baby foods, no sugary foods or juice until at least 18 months then just on occasion, most meals home cooked. Yet their diets couldn't be more different. One loves grilled chicken (wont even eat nuggets), broccoli, green…
