Hello All! My name is Stacy. I had originally gained a lot of weight when I had an accident playing sports. I lost all of the weight years ago, but once I started working a desk job I gained 20lbs back. I'm looking to get rid of 15 of them and keep it off, which has been difficult due to the fact I love food that is…

I pay attention mostly to calories, sodium and fat. Sodium is one of the things I focus on a lot because it is in everything and sometims your daily amount of sodium can be all in one place if you're not careful!

"I just want to lose weight without doing anything" - Sister..... :noway: I admit I have days where I tell myself I just "don't feel like it" but when I do make myself workout I feel great afterwards! This scale moving down is a nice side-effect too.

Considering that I've gained back the pound I lost since Monday, (which is when my grandfather passed away) I'd say yes. I want to eat eat eat! I made awesome meatballs and made sure to have the correct serving size for pasta too! It was very satisfying to be able to get a pasta fix without going bust! I plan on making chicken and pasta tonight, so that scale will be coming out again!

I wanted to thank you for posting this! I was so ready to give up on a run with my husband yesterday, but kept reminding myself of your success! Thanks for giving me the inspiration I needed!

I am in! I will be shooting more for 10-12lbs, but I'd love to join you!

I eat anything and everything I want. It's a matter of portion control, and buring off the extra calories you consumed, or plan to consume. I always try to build up a calorie deficit for the weekends. That way I can eat a little extra on Saturday and Sunday, but not end up busted on Monday morning

There are ALWAYS cookies and cakes at work. I flat out avoid the cake, but I will take a cookie and break it in half. No one else ever wants half a cookie, so I just throw the other half out. Gets rid of the temptation to eat all of it, but I still get enough to hit the spot!

Me.... As a baker, I love food of all kind. Tasting new food is truly like a drug to me. I see something I've never heard of before, smell somthing exotic to my senses, and I have to eat it..... It's so hard but that's why I have my hubby to help keep me on track!

I love my elliptical, but I didn't always. Just start out slow. Same as any type of workout. I agree with walking on it at first. I would just walk leisurely to start. I like to pulse when I'm on mine. Start slow, buildup to a near sprint, then bring it back down to a brisk jog.

I had a beer on Tuesday! Week is not wrecked! Although, I went straight home and hopped on the eliptical afterward!

For that, you DESERVE a party! Congrats! You look fantastic!

I am so sorry about him being so unsupportive. Support from people we are close to, especially our spouse, is very important and can have huge impacts on our success. Just know you have a whole community here to support you even if he doesn't! :flowerforyou:

I share a computer at times with a coworker and she was looking up different diet pills (many that are known to cause heart problems!!!) so I showed her the MFP success stories page!
