  • This sounds awesome! I'm totally in! I'm going on vacation in January (VEGAS!!!) but I know the hotel has a workout facility! I'm excited!
  • I feel guilty at times too. I try to get all of my bad eating out of the way early in the day. That way I can give mysylf an idea of how long I need to go on my elliptical. It's normal to feel guitly or bad when you've been doing really good for so long, but don't sweat it too much. Making a lifestyle change…
  • Done! I did them at my desk too! 100 small forward, 100 small backward!
  • the little bottles of chocolate milk that say "servings in container: 2" I'm sorry, I'm not sharing my chocolate milk so stop making it say it's 2 servings!
  • The owner of the donut shop my husband and I love and used to go to religiously every Sunday asked why didn't see me as much anymore. I explained we were trying to lose weight, eat healthier and be more active. I only go about once a month now and went last sunday (we biked there, about a 17 mile round trip with the route…
  • I do basil, rosemary and italian herbs on mine! sprinkle a tiny bit of freshly shredded parmesan about 5 minutes before it's done and serve with red roasted potatoes! YUM!
  • The girl's locker room in the on campus gym at my college had an incident where a feminine looking guy was dressing as a girl and video recording girls changing clothes, shower, and even going to the bathroom! ICK! He got caught when a group of girls wakled in and saw him with his camcorder. Wish I could say they ganged up…
  • My breakfast yesterday was almost 1000 calories.... Granted I burned enough off to eat another thousand before the day was done, but seriously?
  • For me it's the same way. I workout for 30-45 minutes and it seems to stave off my hunger. If I go for 60-100 minutes, I am about to die if I don't eat soon! I found these Ostrim turkey jerky sticks that are only 100 calories and full of protien! I like the Maple Brown Sugar and it's a great pre-workout fuel or…

  • O0o0o0o0o0! Looks tasty! I have lots of quinoa so I'm going to try this recipe out this weekend!
  • I had 1 fun size bag of whoppers (3 whopper balls in each bag). But Then I had 3 cocktails at a party....
  • I like chocolate almond milk! It lets me have my chocolate milk without gawking at the calories on the label!
  • I walked into the retail store I used to work at and before saying hello, one of my former co-workers came up to me and said "WOW! You've gained a LOT of weight!" I just wanted to punch him in the face. He's the kind of person that likes to instigate and gossip, but that just really really hurt.
  • It was a CHEAT day! Everyone has them and personally I think we all need one! Just make good choices today and get in a little exercise! Never let one day break you! Just hit the reset button and keep going!
  • So glad you asked this question! I was just thinking this since my breakfast and planned lunch already have me 9g over what MFP has me set for!
  • Lots of water. Working out. Eating mostly Vegetables. If you're like me and can't go without your meat, I would suggest baked fish with herbs on it. I agree with SweetMini that you shouldn't do it all the time. I know people who do the Hot Yoga and say that it makes them feel detoxified from all the heavy sweating.

  • I remember living social doing a special event where they gave you this special tablet and then had you eat things like raw peppers and onions and supposedly it made everything taste like candy..... I need to find where you can get those....
  • I drink what I drink and just try to burn off the calories :drinker: . I did lose 6 lbs the month I went without drinking (gained 3 of them back :frown: ) but I try to stick to drinking only on weekends and only having 1-2 the entire weekend.
  • Try roasting them! Beleive me, they are delicious just plain and roasted. Add a little garlic to it and it will be even better!

  • I'll keep you in my prayers and pray for your success in your new job! All of us kitty avatar MFPers need to stick together!
  • I used to drink slimfast over ice with a small amount of black coffee for breakfast. It was better for maintaining than losing for me though, and I have had better luck eating wholesome, but smaller portioned meals. I will admit to having used the SlimQuick packets to mix into water, but honestly the only reason I kept…
  • My elliptical is portable, Haha!!! The meter that counts your strides/time/calories/distance is powered by you. If I stop, the counter loses power after 20 seconds or so. So I can put the pedal to the metal rain or shine, power running or not! Or I would just chase the cat around the apartment so we can both get…
  • At work, I hit up either chick fil a (12 pc no fries, w/ water) or a great, but expensive, salad place called Freshii. If I'm at home, or out and about, any good food truck will do, although lately my husband and I discovered Tru Meals across the street from us and it's been a healthier (but not much cheaper) alternative…
  • I'm gonna do it! I fell of last time, so I will set a more realistic goal! I'm planning on getting a good jog/run in tonight too! Goal for the week: 3500 Monday (10/29): 57 (walking, mod pace.) • Cottage cheese, Goat Cheese/Milk, Squid Sashimi, and Unagi Nigiri. I can eat Unagi (eel) if it's in a roll, but bleh to the texture. Oh, and pork cracklings. That's just gross.....
  • I have an elliptical at home and some workout DVDs! I like watching TV while I'm on my elliptical. I find it has the same effect as they say you get with eating and TV, you just tune in to the show and kinda forget you're running (pedaling?)
