I have 3 favorite machines that I use daily at the gym. The x-ride, which I would describe as an elliptical sitting down, the nu-step which is like a stair stepper sitting down, and the row machine ( really good for the arms). I have bad hips, so these are great.

Hi. I'm Erica. 911 Dispatcher.

Long time turkey eater here, first time roaster....lol. I bought a roaster last year and am breaking out this season. I haven't had a Thanksgiving off in 10 years. So, anyone want to tell me how to use it? :blushing:

Oh goodness, I think the forums have done me in today. I know this wasn't posted about me because i've not posted anything on this thread yet, but I am only 4'11 and I'm currently 187.2 lbs., I don't know why I"m so emotional but this made me cry. I can't believe I'm crying over something that is NOT about me. Wholly crap…

I posted yesterday this same thing kinda :) I was standing in the threshold of the door from the garage to the house. My 5yo daughter pushed me through the door and I asked her what prompted her to do such a thing. She said, " because you're fat, and I thought you got stuck."

This morning I had 1 cup of Quakers Healthy Hearts cereal with 1/2 cup of skim milk. 190 cals.

I forgot another one that she said the other day. Daddy has been telling her not to say mean things to me, which like I said, she didn't realize it was mean. She had made a comment about growing up and being a skinny mommy. I said well you could grow up and be built like me. She pondered for a while and was trying so hard…

They sure don't. That's why it got me thinking. I know it wasn't malicious. I needed to hear it.

Hi. My name is Erica. I'm 32 years old, have a 5 year old daughter and work in centralized 911 dispatch for the past 10 years on 2nd shift. I just started MFP about 2 weeks ago. I really like it. How great to find a group that understands unconventional hours and stress.

I usually pack a small handful of mixed nuts or some light mozz string cheese. My fruit is usually a cup of grapes or a gala apple.

I'm a little slow sometimes lol.

Hi and welcome! I too am from Southern Indiana. I'm 32, and a mother to a feisty 5 year old daughter. I'm just beginning my journey. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I just realized this was you! How awesome to have someone on here that I actually know in person.

Thin lips, huge fat earlobes, piggy nose, small slanted eyes. But after I hit my 30's, I really accepted myself for me.:glasses:

I have a job where I sit for 8-12 hours, very little getting up, so all I think about is eating. I have found that keeping almonds, grapes or carrot chip/slices in a ziploc near me so I can eat a few here and there works out really well. Pistachios are a great snack as well and has healthy fats in them. I'm new too, friend…

I'm from southern Indiana as well. It doesn't look like this post has been written on for a while. I hope you all are still here.

Welcome. This is my first week on here. I"m still trying to get the hang of things, especially the message boards. I am 32. Feel free to add me, that goes to anyone.

I'll send you a request as well. I just started this week and have 70 pounds to lose.

Thank you. There are so many topics, I wasn't sure where to post it, just knew I needed to post it some where!

I had a breast reduction approximately 10 years ago. I do have scaring, but it isn't bad. Its well worth it for the results. I went from an 'F' to a 'C'. I told him to take everything and leave the nips, but he wouldn't :). Recovery I won't lie is not pleasant. You'll have drains for a few days and there will be little…

I've done diets and calorie counting several times. I'll loose about 10 lbs and quit, I don't know why. Then I end up putting on double. Now I'm at the heaviest I've every been. I started MFP yesterday, so here goes nothing!
