Wow Jess - that's really too bad! I agree with everyone that it seems wholly unfair for this ceremony to throw such a wrench in your plans -- hopefully something will change. But, 5 days! You are so close - enjoy the weekend! Laser - thanks for mentioning the sheet/plastic sheet for the co-sleeper situation - we've got our…

I am dying! This is great. I also have my first late pregnancy cervix check and strep check next week and want to tidy up. I had been sugaring everything until a few months ago when it became much more sensitive down there (all that extra blood I suppose), and since then I've relegated this task to my husband. He does…

Thank you!! I feel so much better about my transverse guy thanks to all you ladies!
-
Congrats on your little girl! How exciting!!

34 weeks tomorrow and up 14.8. Hoping to end around 22lbs. Everyone is doing great!
-
Totally agree - I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and living on my exercise ball - normal chairs make me feel too squished in the rib-meets-uterus department. Poor small stomach.

I love this perspective - thanks Rebecca! Like Laser said - as a first time mom, everyone seems to have a story to tell you about labor, newborn care or getting your body back. And it seems that most of their stories are horror stories meant to freak you out. It's irritating, but I get it - and I get why people feel…

Thanks - really appreciate your input! That is extremely comforting to know.

Same boat over here - 33w5days and doctor thinks he's transverse for the time being. We'll do an ultrasound at 36 weeks to see what he's up to. It's so easy to worry about position, but there is plenty of time (I say this more to myself than to you because it's all I can think about these past few days and I know I need to…

Huge congrats Tara! I cannot even imagine what newborn twins must be like. Wow! Hang in there - you are a freaking super hero!

Ahhh! Etsy has taken all of my money too! Such cute stuff - your nursery is looking great! I love the dog theme - very original. Glad you're settling in and (potentially) met a new friend! Crazy to run into people with so much in common as you - they are your Canadian Instant-Friends! Mine is having lots of hiccups…

Thank you!! That's incredibly helpful. I too find that they take too much concentration for me to do while driving or working. Honestly, I know they are important - but they really do feel like a chore. Whining aside - I will try these combos to spice it up. Thanks again!

So, SO stinkin' jealous of you! That sounds like a dream! Was the fresh fruit out of this world? Same here - tight belly on and off - my assumption is also that it's Braxton Hicks. It's not painful, just odd feeling and lasts for about 15-30 seconds. I believe the warning flags would be if you felt that more than 4 -5…

You've got my attention - care to share some of these creative combinations? I'm the WORST at getting my kegels in (I even have to set a reminder on my phone for 3pm every day... 3pm *ding ding* Kegel!) and would love to hear of some more 'creative' options to keep me entertained...

Hey Ladies! I've just read through the pages to bring myself up to speed - sounds like everyone is doing pretty well! RBX - Sorry to hear about your furniture & food debacles - that is not something I'd want to deal with right now, so I feel for you. Let us know how the new delivery goes! Momma - Yes to nesting! I decided…

12 weeks: 0 16 weeks: 0 20 weeks: +2.2 24 weeks: +7.2 28 weeks: +11.8 Getting there! Also, EWWW - I was disappointed to find out that the glucose drink tastes exactly as bad as everyone describes. :grumble:

I don't have time to respond fully - but wanted to say that I am madly in love with my snoogle. Good job to your hubby! Enjoy it lady!.
-
Happy V-Day ladies - hope everyone is enjoying some chocolate at least. Momma - your trip sounds great! Busy, but a nice change of pace. Enjoy the dry temps - hopefully you'll come back feeling much better. Also, enjoy your valentine card crafting - sounds like a fun mess of red paper, finger paints and glue. RBX -…

Hey Ladies! I've been lifting and doing bootcamp throughout my pregnancy (I'm 24 weeks) and have just been modifiying as I go. I agree with what others have said - you absolutely know when something feels 'off' - when you feel it, stop doing it, immediately. Last night was my first work-out related injury since getting…

12 weeks: 0 16 weeks: 0 20 weeks: +2.2 24 weeks: +7.2 I'm only weighing myself at my monthly appointments -- keeps me sane. Everyone is doing great - keep it up ladies!
-
Oh lady - I'm sorry - that stinks!! How long has it been back? I'm feeling pretty great - enjoying it while it lasts. How's everyone else?
-
I agree with Iampanda - you've got so much going on with your body, paying a little more to sleep comfortably is absolutely worth it. I've been sleeping with a Snoogle body pillow since Mid-January, and while we had a trying relationship at first (I sometimes feel trapped in my pillow prison...) I can't sleep without it…

Hey Lady! I second the instant oatmeal - that's a go-to for me. Also, I make my own trail mixes with raw almonds, craisins, cheerios, dark chocolate m&ms and mini-pretzels (or whatever else I can find). What about cheese? Could you bring a baggie of cheese cubes in at the beginning of the week? For bars, I like the Think…

Also, Fage 0% or 2% have pretty low sugar (in comparison to other brands) and you can spice them up with toppings if plain isn't your thing. Glad everyone is well! I'm in sewing mode - made some throw pillows and a crib skirt last night -- curtains on tap tonight! Happy Hump Day!
-
You're totally fine - you'll just pee out whatever you can't process. I also love greek yogurt and pre-pregnancy would take in 140-160gms of protein a day. I think it's awesome you're still getting 100 during pregnancy - way to go!
-
Great idea! I'd love to spy on everyone.
-
Laser - I'm so impressed with your swimming! That's great!! And what is it about 22 weeks? I've felt great this week! I'll keep an eye out for the yoga thread, you know I'm trying the prenatal thing along with you.
-
Same with me - I've cut down lifting to 2-3x a week, but am actually still doing bench in a circuit setting (laying down for no longer than 60 secs). I have changed some exercises due to the relaxin -- for example, lateral hip-driven movements feel really weird these days, so I just make them less dynamic. I've also…

Rebecca & Momma - Sounds like it was a rough night for both you ladies - sorry to hear it! Hopefully you'll be able to get some much needed sleep tonight! Congrats on maintaining your weight Renae - that's a huge accomplishment! Glad your workouts are feeling better as well. Nothing new for me. Spent last weekend painting…
