I agree -- you're already model of losing the baby weight successful - I'm sure you're OB will be understanding. Besides, we've got it tough! As soon as we get out of the first tri and get our appetites back then *wham!* it's the holidays with stuffing and cookies and treats and oh my.... not an easy feat. Momma -- I hear…

Thanks! Definitely what I wanted to hear.

Great thread -- I'm 6'0" and 16 weeks along with my first and am not yet showing. I can see a slight difference below my belly button, but it's not anything noticeable to the eye (more to the touch?) and I'm still in all my regular clothes. I also haven't gained any weight yet (actually, I'm still down 6 pounds from the…

Also 15 weeks with my first - feel free to add me!

Thanks - that's what I figured. I got used to one prescription brand that my doctor gave me a ridiculous supply of samples from - but now that my supply is depleting, I'm ready to go over the counter. Appreciate your help!

I agree- this whole thread is beyond helpful! I've been trying to avoid the 'freak myself out by researching everything' trap, but it is nice to know in advance that you'll be wearing industrial pads after delivery, that you have to rinse with a water bottle, or that you won't feel an episiotomy due to the anesthetic.…

Holy **** Rebecca - THANK YOU. I honestly had never heard about any of this. I mean, totally understandable why moms with new babies would want to omit that part when telling the birth story, but really - thank you for the education!

Wow. Thank you - I had no idea that it was a prolonged bleeding situation. Sounds awesome!

Ha - I'm the same -- I can't be out past my 'bedtime' these days or I go catatonic. Glad you liked Skyfall! I saw that a few weeks ago and thought it was fun too - loved seeing Javier Bardem in a creepy role. Got my NT & blood results back and all is well - odd are 1 in 2,000, so we're going to skip further testing. Nice…

um.... yikes! first timer here -- can you elaborate?

Ditto.

Yes - thanks for posting Momma! And sorry to hear about your headaches. I've been getting them at the back of my skull for the past week now. When they get really bad I find that 4-6oz of regular coca cola completely stops them. Go caffeine! Our Thanksgiving was quiet and nice -- I made my first turkey solo and felt like I…

My due date is the 28th - welcome!

I love the idea of 'pie night' on Black Friday - great idea! And nothing wrong with your Key Lime pie -- own that! I am attempting to cook Thanksgiving ... we'll see how that goes. I just want to get through cooking without vomiting. I don't feel like that's asking too much. Anyways, I didn't want to deal with…

Thanks for the welcome Ladies! RBXChas - Congrats on your strong heartbeat - that's great. Are you doing anything (besides tums) for your heartburn? I'm skeptical about the glass of milk think. And yes, the smells! The horror! Plus, lately, I'm having sporadic vomiting - I got really excited when the nausea started to…

Hi Ladies - Hope it's not too late to join! I'm just over 12 weeks with my first pregnancy and due on May 28th -- I would love to follow your stories as we all progress. My pregnancy is pretty textbook so far - finally coming out of the nausea world and into the world of heartburn and headaches. lovely. Oh, and smells... I…

I'd say you should reset for 6 weeks at minimum, 8 weeks or more preferred. 2 weeks just isn't enough time to turn the car around. Good luck!!
-
well, of course. strong is the new slutty.
-
it'll depend on the day and whether it's a strength focused or metabolic circuit focused class -- either way, an HRM would be the best way to log it, but if that's not an option I'd suggest Circuit Training in the MFP database... Have fun!
-
if you're in the middle of a reset then I would keep doing what you're doing. sorry to hear about your injury!

oh yes. start a yahoo league for us!
