Lately it's been a cup of Vector cereal with a cup of skim milk. Other days, eggs and toast or toast with natural peanut butter. And always a cup of black coffee :drinker:

Glad to hear! I'm looking forward to the challenge!

Agreed. I weigh every day so I can see the trend. I was below my goal yesterday and gained 1.5 lbs between yesterday and today. It doesn't bother me because the overall trend is down. If it upsets you to see that, don't weigh on consecutive days. Go every couple weeks or so. The important thing is not to get discouraged…

I think so! My goal was to fit (not just squeeze) into a specific dress for a wedding I'm going to this weekend. Mission accomplished! I'm not limited to empire waist dresses anymore, although I'm still taking advantage of the magic of Spanx

Just finished yesterday. I think I took 4-5 rest days throughout the program (mainly due to time constraints rather than needing "rest") and tried to follow the advanced moves whenever I could. I lost 7.5 lbs. I didn't take measurements, but my clothes feel looser. I was doing this in combination with daily walks (at least…

I just finished my first round. I took rest days when I needed them, I think 4-5 all together, although they were due more to lack of time than anything else. I think listening to your body is the most important. What works for one person may not work for another.

I do this, too. Makes it easy to adjust lunch/snacks if needed.

I ignored the cake they were giving away at the grocery store. They were small pieces but I still didn't need it.

I am! My little guy is just over two months. I have my calories set for lightly active and to lose half a pound per week. I eat back most of my exercise calories. I've been walking every day since I was able and doing the 30 Day Shred for the past three weeks and am steadily losing. Milk supply seems fine but we'll see how…

I'm almost seven weeks postpartum and have 15 lbs to lose to get to my pre-pregnancy weight (and then I hope to lose a few more)! I see my dr today and assuming I'm clear for exercise I will start tonight!

I've always just scooped it with a measuring cup. It would never occur to me to weigh ice cream...

Ok good! That seemed a little overboard! There's a tea shop that sells loose leaf tea near my work, so I'm going to pick some up in a few weeks (only 29 weeks now). Thanks!

How much of it do you need to drink? At my yoga class, others were saying they had 8-10 cups of it a day. Do you need that much to make it effective?

I think that's totally normal. I had a spike somewhere around that time too. Remember that it's not just fat. You're producing more blood, placenta, amniotic fluid, and a baby! Your body's doing all kinds of stuff right now. Plus if you're only weighing once a week you might be at a point today where you haven't had a…

They started doing this on LiveStrong and it was a huge pain and part of why I stopped. Nutritional values are different for the same brands in different places. Most of the "verified" foods were American, and as a Canadian they often weren't accurate for me. It also led to a delay in being able to log things and just…

Drink lots of water and eat your regular healthy foods today. I went out last night and "gained" 2 lbs, but it's likely sodium causing water retention, digestion, etc. It's not 4 lbs of fat. Check back in a couple days and you'll likely be back to normal.

Thanks for the input! I think I'll sign up and see how it goes. Even if I only go back for the last part of the season, it will be worth it. I want to get back to being active and it's always been a nice way to get out of the house and be social!

I've been making quinoa salad lately. I add feta, tomatoes, green onion, olives, spinach, and Greek dressing (sometimes chickpeas if I have them). Leave it in the fridge and take a container for lunch.

We are leaving the sex of our baby a surprise and we are having such a hard time coming up with names for a boy! I like names like Alexander, Matthew, Benjamin, etc but DH doesn't love them. Middle name will likely be Eric though (family name).

22 weeks and I've gained about 18 pounds (although it fluctuates a lot, I've already hit the 20 pound mark and come back down).

I played soccer until the end of my first trimester with my dr's blessing. He said only to stop because of the risk of getting hit by the ball, not because the actually running around was dangerous. I slowed down on my other activities because I was suuuuuper tired all the time, but now I've started using my elliptical…

Pizza's a big one for me too! We're going to make homemade tomorrow. For savory foods, I've been craving spicy stuff more than normal. Same foods, just kicked up a notch. I also polished off a small tub of coconut yogurt throughout the afternoon. I didn't realize how much of it I had until it was gone...whoops!

Hi! I'm 22 weeks with my first. I'm also having trouble staying away from the junk food and getting in enough exercise. It's tough balancing everything!
-
Thanks for the reply! It's still early on, so we'll see what happens!

My goal lately is 45 minutes of exercise most days. I have an elliptical and also do yoga sometimes. I've been golfing a lot through the summer, walking not riding! I also play soccer once a week. I've been thinking about doing 30 Day Shred again. I did it years ago and enjoyed it. For diet, I've been trying to add more…

Thanks! Scouseblonde, I've also been diagnosed with PCOS, but I don't have all the symptoms, so I don't know how it will affect me at this point. I hope your symptoms get under control! Good luck with your journey as well! I'm glad to hear it worked for you, Chrissie! I'm hoping losing a little more will increase my…

I'm also prepping to get pregnant for the first time! I went off the pill a month ago and seemed to lose a bit right away. I'm hoping to keep the momentum going and lose another 10. I've also been diagnosed with PCOS which may make it a bit challenging.
