It used to be greek yogurt with honey, but recently I've started eating hummus with carrots! SOOOO GOOD!!

I think that this makes total sense. It isn't about being on a diet. It is about a lifestyle change. If you eat for the weight you would like to be, the theory is you will slowly lose weight until you reach that point. It may take years, but eventually you'll reach your goal weight, and you won't have to change your eating…

I usually bust my butt doing a 30 minute elliptical workout. It hurts at first, but afterwords it pretty much cures the hangover for me. You sweat out all the toxins and such. Feel better!

YES!!!

:drinker: Exactly how I feel about it! Don't knock it 'til you try it! :drinker:

Nope! You have to lift heavy if you want to see any results. Doing more reps with smaller weights will still burn calories, but it certainly won't build any muscle.

I don't think that there is any way to get rid of them. My sister, who is fit and has been her whole life, has had cankles her whole life. They don't look bad. We tend to pick on ourselves and notice flaws that other's don't even see!

Hmm... Well I tried one this week just to see what all the fuss is about. It's a decent tasting sandwich, but I don't think I'd get it again. The sauce is yummy, but for 500 calories it wasn't worth it for me. I'd rather have some chocolate cake. :flowerforyou:

I work in a cubicle too. I usually keep something around to sip on (coffee, tea, water) and that seems to keep the munching at bay. Also, I'd throw out all of your tic tacs and such and stick to sugar free gum if you need to chew.

I honestly believe it doesn't matter. I prefer to eat after my workouts because eating before makes me feel uncomfortable.

I think that is probably one of the best responses to a "starvation mode" question.

Cold turkey is the best way to quit in my opinion! Get the chemical withdrawls over with in the begining and then just deal with the emotional/habitual part of it! Go you! Tips: THROW OUT ALL ASH TRAYS, LIGHTERS, CIGARETTES!! Drink water when you have a craving. Stock up on crunchy vegetables (carrot sticks, celery, bell…

My SO will love these! I'll definently try to make them soon! Thanks!

It sounds like he's being more of an immature brother than a boyfriend.

Drink lots of water.

Former WoW addict (more than 4 hours a day)... I finally quit about a month after Cata release because I got bored with it and started trying to live a healthier lifestyle. I'm still looking for a decent game to play casually. Good luck!

I'm thinking about buying it too, but some of the negative reviews on Amazon have me a little reluctant. Most of the complaints are that it requires a non-busy gym to do a routine as you have to switch quickly and often between equipment and exercises. Any thoughts from someone who uses or has tried the routines from the…

Everybody's body is different, and we are all comfortable at different sizes and weights. It's all about losing until you reach a size that is comfortable and healthy for YOU. A chart someone found on the internet can't tell you how much you should weigh. Meds can suck for weight loss. I had to take a corticosteroid for…

Your second chart (the military one) lists the minimum healthy weight for someone who is 4'10" as 91 lbs. The first chart is majorly skewed.
-
Sure it is, especially if she has a small frame. I am 5'2" and weighed 95lbs in high school without dieting. Totally healthy.

I eat peanut butter when I'm under. So good!!

At first I thought the OP was trolling...lmao

Uhm 21st birthday? You seriously need to ask if it's ok to party and cheat on your diet??? Go crazy and have an amazing time! You only live once! HAVE FUN!! Happy Birthday!!!

Congratulations on quitting! I quit about 7 months ago. My advice to you is to drink a ton of water. Like everytime you think of smoking, take a sip of water. Stock up on raw crunchy veggies (carrots, celery, bell peppers) and eat them without dressing whenever you want to munch. You can do this, and I promise it does get…

I think it depends on how sore. Light cardio won't hurt, but I wouldn't lift any weights.
-
A whole bag of mini snickers and a jar of peanut butter.

They are tastey, but they make me gassy :blushing:

I've yet to decline a friend request... if people end up being jerks, I delete them. I usually send mine with a short message regarding why I'd like to be friends.
-
I've been doing it on the elliptical and just logging the calories it says I burn.

Hi! My fiance was in the Navy! FR sent
