  • Third grade. I was a pretty ackward and unsocialized kid that really didn't leave the house much and when studying at home my parents had this rule that there would be no TV or radio or anything on so I always ended up studying in total silence as they read the daily paper. This was fine at home but became a problem at…
  • This. If the kids don't care, too bad. I don't smoke and I couldn't care less in most situations but in this case they are messing with your livelihood, end of story. ...additionally, I would document all conversations surrounding the isseue because I would guess that should someone call the authorities on your wife, if…
  • Your 1760 target seems high to me. I'm a 230# male and I'm at 1600. You could look at revising that for starters particularly since you are not getting the results you want.
  • Once a day, twice if going to the gym. Maybe this is just me but I hate baths. I can't stand the thought of trying to get clean while wallowing in my own filth. My ex-wife on the other hand... 2 maybe 3x a month. Ick.
  • This can serve a pourpose too. The competitive lifters I used to train with would often practice lockouts with high reps using lower weight.
  • This depends on what one is trying to achieve. Lockout deals quite a bit with the transition of force from the pecs to areas of the shoulders and tricpes and is also dependent on form and position of the bar relative to body (think arched back vs. flat back) Each has a place, it's up to the lifter to decide what they are…
  • Powerlifting requires the bar to touch the chest and pause visibly before lifting, with extension to lock out. I have always pretty much stuck with that. Getting the bar in motion off of the bottom is tough and what the bounce does is use the compression of your chest to get it going again off of the bottom.
  • Plan your meals, bring your meals, stick to your meals and ONLY your meals. It took a while to figure out the right combination for myself. What works best for me is to have the same feeding regimen during the week based roughly around a 3 hour feeding time. I have a small breakfast (6:00am), a mid morning snack (10:30am),…
  • This would be the point where I pull out the batt and we do some batting practice. By lawn if by can, by driveway if by glass.
  • Guilty. I try to do so as discreetly as possible but I'd rather get that crap out of my system than swallow only to end up coughing it up later.
  • Blood red would be fine for the walls but I would shy away from painting the curtains and bedding. BTW, from an architect, this questions needs more context to get any sound advice.
  • I was going to say that this is yet again more proof that the American school system sucks but I guess it's you Brits that are really screwed. Seriously though, I'm with the feather-filled and water-filled weight guys. Trying to repeatedly lift 45# of squishy feathers or water is tough and REALLY gets those secondary…
  • This looks awesome, I'll have to give it a go.
  • In. I've been homebrewing since about 2004, have been the vice pres of our local club for three years, and I brew more than I purchase or can drink myself (in good conscience anyway). I just wish I had more money and more people who would enjoy it with me so I could do even more.
  • Sorry to have to say this but the 90's called and they want thier crappy tatt's back. To answer the question.... It depends. I feel that far too many people are too random about what they have, where they place it and how big it is. Additionally, far too many people lack ant sort of originality. A little thought goes a…
  • dye it red and pretent you're hot.
  • WAIT!!! So that's not a kidney stone removal kit!?!?! ....this explains more than I care to share.
  • Looking at how peoples faces transform has become one of my favorite things on this site. I find it amazing how much difference it can make and how many people look so much happier. Congrats, be proud of yourself, and keep up the great work!
  • Be sure to look into Lagunitas Daytime IPA. It clocks in at 140 calories, is under 5%, and is a fantastic brew. As far as I know Lagunitas has not yet perfected the recipe to their liking so expect it to change slightly but definately give it a try if you like hops.
  • This. Some of your local or regional breweries/brewpubs probably already make one. I know that Titletown in Green Bay makes one every year with hops that thier customers bring in. It varies greatly from year to year but is always worth a try. ...if you really want to step up the hop flavor and aromas in your homebrews,…
  • cookie dough. ...specifically homemade oatmeal with an extra cup of oat meal thrown in the mix. YUM!!!
  • There are really too many to name but here is the last week in no order.... Converge Botch Mr. Bungle *kitten* Surfers Slayer Cattle Decapitation Nirvana The Dillinger Escape Plan Rollins Band NIN
  • Are you braggin or complainin?
  • Guilty. It has always been for personal use and I don't think I've ever done so of someone I find particularly attractive. I normally do so to capture a moment of something I have witnessed that I found/find interesting, or beautiful, or serene, or just a great setting. ...a father and son at a park playing, a woman…
  • If you grill that much you are probably good. I say go for it!
  • I'm assuming that you either live in a climate in which this would ebe usable year round or you are like a handful of the diehards here in Wisconsin that actually do grill year round. As an architect I have done a few of these for clients over the years and what it usually boils down to is how much you would truly use it.…
  • Baby carrots and hummus.
  • no, never. ...ever.
  • For getting up and out of bed. For breathing in and out though the pain of a couple of things I am going through makes me want to stop. For functioning and apperaing normal in plain site of others while inside I'm screaming with every ounce of my being.
