I do mine in sets of 5 with 20 reps. Now of course with the addition of more squats I will modify my reps and or sets. The idea i think is to get the benefit of the squats. As long as you are doing them.. Keep it up.

I wear wrist and ankle weights while doing squats and push-ups. For a total of 12 pounds between the four.

For me it was sugary soda and cut down my portions. Logging my meals was a big help in watching my portions.
