  • Here's a group! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/21339-jillian-michael-s-body-revolution-motivation-group
  • I know I'm a couple days late and not sure if anyone is still checking this but I wanted to post my progress b/c there was just a little =) I am trying to lose my final pesky 10-15 lbs and it's proving to be quite the feat. Anyhoo, I skipped the last two days b/c of some situations out of my control...and I will be joining…

  • There's a Ripped in 30 group that begins 1 May if ur interested in joining!
  • Aw thanks! My 1 year old had it first, then my 5 year old, then yep...me! This is actually the 2nd time we've caught it this year. It's gone thru the schools & daycares here twice in a 2 month span. It's the worst!! My kids are better but I'm taking today off the shred too. I am just physically spent. I'm ready for RI30…
  • *sighh* Another upset in my 30DS journey and I'm off by two days again. That daggone Norovirus is the worst! Spent the weekend cleaning up puke and then getting really sick myself. I still managed to shred on Saturday but just couldn't do it yesterday. I'm going to pick back up today hopefully but mann am I drained. I may…
  • The DVD recommendation is doing Level 1 during Week 1, Level 2 during Week 2, Level 3 during Week 3 and Level 4 on Week 4. This is what I plan to do! But I think it's also a good idea for those who need or want that extra time for each level, to do it for as long as they'd like. I am going to Vegas for a bachelorette…
  • Great job! I'm planning to double up again tonight, like I did last night. Mann, doing it twice in a row is BRUTAL. Keep up the great work everyone!
  • Your post made me think of another Jillian Michaels DVD that I love...No More Trouble Zones. It's one of my faves! If your trouble spots are areas her DVD focuses on, you could get it or do it?
  • Was a 7.5-8 until I gained a lot of weight in 2006...then went up half a size with each pregnancy (2008 and 2012)...so I was 8.5-9 for a few years. Now that I've lost 65 lbs and I'm smaller than even at my pre-pregnancy weight, I'm back in 7.5-8.
  • YES...my upper back is usually hurting by the time I finish doing all that plank work in Level 2. I don't even feel it in my core or legs...when I'm in the plank position, no matter the move, my upper arms and upper back are on fire.
  • Good for you! Since I shred at night, I'll be doing it later this evening and hopefully I can make it through two rounds. I am trying to be proactive since I might miss a day or two this weekend (driving 8 hrs to another state on Friday night and another 8 hrs back home on Monday). Yesterday was a struggle! I had a potluck…
  • I mentioned this in another post but I purchased an inexpensive knee brace off Amazon and it's really made a huge difference for my knees! I've had no knee pain during or after the workouts since I started wearing it. I got the Ace knee brace but there are a lot of options out there for you ladies!

  • Awesome! Congrats!!
  • I ordered an inexpensive knee brace on Amazon for this very reason...and it has done me WONDERS for getting through the workouts without any knee pain at all (and even the next day, nothing!). Best of luck !
  • I'm still here too! I did Level 2, Day 3 last night and will do Day 4 tonight. So far I've only taken one rest day, which is within my goal of taking only one per Level if needed (mostly for school or family things). I am traveling out of town from Fri-Mon so I'm packing up my DVD to make sure I get it done. Also, thinking…
  • Day 1 of Level 2 done! Followed up by a 20 min Zumba Core class on the Wii...whooo! Still haven't seen much movement on the scale but I'm not giving up. Well done ladies! 19 more days!
  • Good for you! I'll be shredding tonight as I only have time to workout at night. I ordered an Ace knee brace yesterday and should get it by Saturday b/c my knees have been bothering me as well. I've never had knee issues, so I'm hoping this helps. I'm so motivated by all the dedication here. Keep up the great work!!
  • Done with Level 1! I'm super excited about Level 2!!
  • I've done the 30DS before (at least for 15 days...lol) and I never had knee issues. But this time, I'm feeling it in my knees! I tried doing it barefoot, with socks, with shoes...no matter, my knees (esp my left knee) hurt the next day. I mostly did Level 2 last time I did 30DS and I had no knee issues so thank goodness…

  • That's so funny...I count the really hard moves too and I always listen to my own music. Sometimes I'll be so into a song tho, I'll miss when the move has changed lol. I also count down by circuit (first circuit down, 2/3 left...two circuits down, 1/3 left...etc), this makes it most tolerable for me!
  • This set comes with an instructional DVD specifically - http://www.amazon.com/Zumba-Fitness-Exhilarate-Shaping-System/dp/B008ZB4C50/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1397074338&sr=8-2&keywords=zumba+exhilarate

  • I co-sign a previous response - if you have a gaming system, you should get that version of Zumba (like for Wii or Xbox Kinect or PlayStation Move). I recently bought Zumba Core for the Wii (from Groupon for like $15) and I love it. If you don't have a gaming system, these DVD sets are rated pretty high on Amazon: Zumba…
  • That's awesome...both the weight loss and the NSV! Congrats!
  • Hey there! Good for you! I think I'm going to double-up just two days (today and tmo) and then count the third missed day as a rest day, this time. If this turns into a habit for me, I'll just add on to the end of the 30 days. Thanks for the encouragement!
  • That's probably one of the few JM DVDs I don't have! But I'd be willing to get it, if we do that next. I'm down for either that or Ripped in 30 (which I got for Christmas but haven't taken the plastic wrap off yet :frown:)
  • That's true! Yes, definitely need to keep up the habit lol. I'm looking forward to the whole 30 days process...which feels really good. Usually I feel daunted by these 30-day, 60-day, 90-day programs but not this time! :)
  • So many interesting people on here! My paying job is as an information manager for the USMC; my unpaid jobs include being a mama to two sweet kids and a graduate student almost done with my master's program!
  • Thank you! I usually do just give up if I miss this many days, but surprisingly this group motivates me to keep with it! I appreciate your feedback
  • I work out a lot later than others apparently lol...but I finished working out around 10:30p last night. I did JM 30DS Level 1 and 20 mins of Zumba Core on the Wii. Tonight, I'll be doing 30DS and 20 mins on the elliptical. I'm excited for Level 2 already, the burn is so much more real!
  • That daggone IIFYM never works for me. Pretty much everytime I plan for some "unhealthy" calories, I am up 3-4 lbs the next day and then have to re-lose them over the next couple weeks. I have gone up and down within the same five-lb range the past couple of months, its ridiculous. Case in point - I finally saw some…
