Michele—DH is in a good facility, and is getting good nursing care. I had dinner with him today. The nurses are skilled RN’s. He will likely be there for a while longer. Thanks for your good thoughts.

I am with DH in his nursing facility, and the nurses are very good. He is well cared for. We are watching TV. Many of you may remember Wagon Train. DH loves this show. I’m watching and remember it well. 😊

We’re having a good time today. DH & I had a good lunch & he is chatting with our son, It is noon now & I may be back to my apartment soon.

Gratitude — I am grateful for the ability to talk on the telephone with DH. He is working on improving his health. I get to visit in person when our daughter can take me to him. The ability to chat on our telephones makes it easy to talk with each other whenever we want. 😊 ❤️

I had a nice day today. I had a good conversation with DH & enjoyed talking with him. I sat with nice people at meals and watched some TV. :)

Regarding refrigerators and freezers— Ours are at our home in Oregon. They are in good working order, and we are far away. I spent time with DH yesterday. Our daughter brought him a new warm coat. He wasn’t feeling energetic to try it on. It looked huge to me. I hope. he will be feeling good enough to try it on. She was in the process of bringing me home when we were stopped by a Christmas parade. It was a pleasant surprise.

I spent several hours with DH today. Our daughter brought him a new coat that will keep him warm in cold weather. ❤️

DH is in a care facility and I have spent the past few hours with him. I enjoyed the visit & DH is asleep. I’m waiting for my daughter to pick me up and take me to my apartment.

Our daughter’s chest freezer died. DH is hoping to replace it with an upright. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome. <3

DH is in a care facility and I get to see him several times a week thanks to our daughter. Last evening she took me to a family event and I enjoyed it very much. I hope to see DH soon. I plan to call him for a chat later this morning.

My daughter took me to a family get together this evening. I enjoyed it. There was food and conversation with the adults and play for the kids. Everyone had a good time. I am home now and watching TV.

I will be going to visit DH today, & afterward I will go to to a family Thanksgiving party hosted by our daughter’s mother in law.

Happy Thanksgiving!! I am thankful for my husband, our adult children and our young grandchildren— a first born granddaughter, and four boys between them. ❤️. 😘. ❤️ 😘. ❤️ Right now I’m watching the Thanksgiving Day parade.

I went to see dad today. He had a doctor’s appointment and was improving. He was doing better than I had imagined. Still a long way to get healthy, but he is better today than I’d seen him in a long while. I feel better, knowing he is improving. ❤️

I am homesick for my home & friends in Oregon. I hope that DH’s health will continue to improve in his care facility. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I plan to spend time with dh as soon as I can get transportation. I haven’t had a visit with him for a day or two and I miss him.

I am watching tv and waiting for my daughter to get here. She is planning to host a meeting from here. Afterwards we will go to visit DH. DH and I have been chatting this morning, thanks to the magic of the internet.
