I find what helps me is preplanning. I will literally enter my food and my exercise for the next day and see where it leads me for calories whether I'm higher or lower. I try to stick to what I have written but if I do change things I will make the changes with MFP. I find it made things a lot easier than trying to stick…

I would take measurements and pictures. Also keep in mind that if you have just started with being healthier sometimes it takes the body time to adjust to the changes whether they are sudden or not. I personally have been at or around the same weight for about 8 months but I know I'm still losing because I have had to buy…

For water if I'm at home I add fruit into a pitcher let the flavors take over, herbal tea decaffinated, sometimes I add a nestea 5cal flavor crystals to my water at work if I really don't feel like water. As for pop I will have it occassionally (diet and at restaurants only) now I can't handle a can of pop it hurts my…

I add fruit, granola, hemp seeds, honey or like others have mentioned I will make smoothies or replace sour cream with it. After awhile it really isn't that bad plain, I now have a hard time eating normal yogurt (find it too sweet).

That's awesome!! It always feels great when people can see and notice the positive changes you have made. I would be floating into the sauna after that as well.

Awesome job on figuring out the calories and making the changes. I used to have 2 extra large double double's from Tim Horton's now I have 1 extra large (old size) with 2 cream. Before I joined MFP I would have a Venti White Mocca with whipped cream at least once a day and couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing anything.…

Awww that does sound like a pretty rough day. Hang in there tomorrow is a new day, at least the fire was contained to the microwave and it didn't become an even worse situation. Hope tomorrow is better for you.

I'm stuck as well around the 190's can't seem to get the scale to move in the right direction. Clothes fit better though. SW: 202 (on MFP) CW:196.5 GW: 135-140sih. Originally I wanted it to be 125-130 but my personal trainer has informed me that this is impossible if I want to be a healthy weight, so 135-140 it is.

When I had a trainer at the gym we did TRX. It is fun but a lot tougher than I expected, you can do all types of excercises on it. You use your body weight and the ropes make you use your core more for stability, I would suggest having a couple sessions with a trainer and then go on your own if money is an issue, the…

The recommended calorie intake for a female is at least 1200 calories a day to be able to function normally, for males it is higher. I would start by increasing your caloric intake, even when you feel full. This website (My Fitness pal= MFP) is not a diet but a lifestyle change and it is used to help you see where you need…
