Max Recovery completed - the planks and pushups were tough and I had to modify some of them. Still, overall a very nice workout.

I am abroad and if it wasn't for this group, I'd probably do nothing today. Just the thought of doing this Plyo workout made me tired. But I just completed it. I still hate it, just slightly less than when I did it for the first time :) I will do Max Recovery tomorrow because I had my Rest Day on Thursday. I am so proud of…

Workout completed. I am low on energy but I made it. I am, however, dreading tomorrow's Plyo already.

I am so tired, those last 3 days were crazy. Guests, schooling, car breaking down. Right now I am sitting at my desk working on my CV and the only thing I want is to go to bed and sleep. But I will do my workout first. I'll let you know how it goes.

I won't be able to do my workout today. I spent the whole day at a schooling and I also have guests at home who need some peace and quiet, their daughter had a surgery today and they are spending 2 nights here. I am taking my rest day today and will do Max Recovery on Sunday. From your reports, it sounds like a nice…

My results scale-wise are similar, 1.5-2lbs loss. Not getting too excited about it until I'm done. I am looking forward to comparing the before and after pic.

I did it. I actually liked it more than Pure Cardio. It felt like... I don't know, lower impact than Pure Cardio? I sweated like crazy all the same though. Looking forward to Recovery tomorrow!

Oh, thanks so much ladies, I am just changing into my workout clothes, good to read something so encouraging!
-
I wouldn't have completed this one without some modifications... Congratulations to everyone!

I completed mine and boy did I hate this first circuit. I felt so discouraged I almost stopped. But then I thought about 2 ladies in our group who already completed their workouts and thought it would be quite lame of me to stop. So I pushed through but I'm not happy with my performance.

I did it!! YES! Pink Cheek's reply about this workout being not as bad as expected really encouraged me and she was RIGHT! It was tough and I was sweating like I rarely do but I know now that this one is doable. My belly fat is just as stubborn as yours, people. My legs and hips always were the first to slim down. I almost…

First time I tried peanut butter I ate it with bread and I hated it. It felt just the way you described it. I thought I hated it. Years later, I gave it another go. I tried it in my protein shake, on an apple, in a banana cut in half lengthwise. I fell in love. Maybe try it with something less dry than bread. I also use…

Agree! And why are there 50 different entries for a potato? 1 for 50g, one for 75g, one for a cup, another for half a cup, yet another for a slice, etc etc etc. I'd love them all to be in one place called raw potato.

Use the recipe tab. Unless you cook something new every single evening, you will find it really useful. The more recipes you enter, the easier it gets with time. I tend to print my recipes, weigh everything, write it directly on the recipe while cooking (it takes just a few seconds) and save the print in a folder I keep in…

Paintball sounds like fun! But I bet you're sore today... I previewed Max Interval Circuit. I got thirsty just from watching. Oh boy.
-
I completed Core C&B today. My shoulders feel so sore after the Fit Test! Anxious and curious about tomorrow...
-
Lots of good advice here. Apart from eating properly I'd also encourage you to make sure you get enough sleep. My form is much poorer if I don't.
-
I completed my Fit Test today. I improved in most exercises with the exception of switch kicks and suicide jumps. Also, I lost a bit again, so today I am exactly 1kg lighter than when I started Insanity. I will do Core and Cardio later.
-
I'm considering doing my Fit Test tomorrow before Core Cardio and Balance in order to really enjoy 1 full day of rest on Sunday. We'll see. 30 days left!
-
I lost ONE pound so far. But it's the first time ever I'm starting to think I might be able to like my stomach one day.
-
I had to force myself today, as usual, when I do my workout in the evening. Cardio-wise, I felt weak today, but strength-wise it was okay. I did the push-ups without difficulties (I only managed 3 full rounds instead of 4 like they do, though) and managed to hold all positions without resting. Nice to see such a progress.

We are half way there! I'm starting to feel exhaused, too, and I also miss the "real" recovery workout. I also decided to follow the idea from my dream and do the Fit Test on Sunday evening. I really want to complete this program, because though I see almost no change on my scale, I can see my body changing.

Pink Cheek, you are my hero. I would NEVER get up at 4am to do my workout even if I lived in a country where it's never dark outside at this time. On the other hand, I used to get up at 3:45am once in a while just to wash my hair before going to work (I started at 6am, I had to catch the 4:45am train) - not washing them…

I completed 30 DS twice and am currently in the middle of Insanity. I would suggest you complete one thing first before you move on to the next challenge. Especially if you are still on level 1 of the 30DS. Level 2 is much more challenging. And do not worry - you will see results. Micheleb15 gave you good advice:…

Max Interval Circuit: 60 minutes Max Interval Plyo: 55 minutes Max Cardio Conditioning: 47 minutes Max Recovery: 47 minutes. Also, we'll be doing our current Core Cardio & Balance workout which lasts 37 minutes as you know. On some days we need to add Cardio Abs which last 16 minutes if I'm not mistaken.

Another red X on my workout calendar! Woohoo! I really like this workout. Makes me sweat but I don't feel like I'm going to die. Would I think the same if it was the first Insanity workout on day one? :) I'm starting having dreams about Phase 2. Last night in my dream I was wondering if I should do the Fit Test on Sunday…

I do Insanity without shoes. I also did all my other workouts at home (30 day shred, Ripped in 30) without them.I do however get shin splints easily if I work out on the floor (or thin carpet). For that reason I use a workout mat.

How come this topic is sticky? Did I do it by accident? :) Core Cardio and Balance completed. I was sweating, too! I'm not sure how to log it, though. Folks with HRM - how many calories did you burn in comparison to a regular workout? I'm curious what wffolkes will write, he was going to do the Fit Test and his first long…

I'm sure you will get great results, it'll just last a little bit longer. Considering that Insanity gives you 1 rest day and 1 recovery day (shorter, less intense workout) per week you might choose to have these days exactly on the days you work. In this way you would only miss 1 intense workout per week.
