My husband's birthday was yesterday. I just gave myself a pass that day. I didn't go crazy or anything, just didn't stress about eating out. We just got him a regular cake. If there is anything good about having celiac, it is that there is absolutely no temptation to eat cake.

Hi! I am also 28, married, and live in Indy. 9 year old step-son who lives with us primarily. Would love to connect for encouragement and accountability.

I eat 100% food when I don't feel like cooking or packing a lunch or am on the go. Just add water. I have celiac and am slightly lactose intolerant, so a lot of "easy" foods are not an option. Also, I HATE cooking and food prep in general. So pre-prepping just isn't something I want to do.

I probably drink around 10-12 glasses of water and 2-3 glasses of herbal/green/unsweetened black tea every day. More on cardio days. My bladder is exhausted, but my body keeps telling me I'm thirsty so I'm gonna go with that.

Personally, I do better when I weigh daily. Or at least every day I am home in the morning. I have a Withings scale that automatically syncs with MFP. It helps me to see that even though there are daily or weekly fluctuations, the trend line is doing what I want. I need that visual.

I am the same. Lost about 50 lbs, gained 30 back. Most of that in the last year as I have been dealing with some things. That's no excuse, but it is what it is. Time to make it a lifestyle change.

I am adding as well. And all are free to add me. More support would be awesome.

Add me. Starting again.

I, too, need more friends.

I am re-starting as well. Feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me as well. It would be nice to have some friends on here from Indy. I have been off track a bit the last month or two due to some life stuff. But I didn't gain and now I'm hoping things will calm down a bit again.

Hi Lavender, Welcome! Like you, my goal is 150, but with less emphasis on that than just getting healthier in general. This group doesn't seem to be very active, but feel free to add me as a friend. I've found the more friends I have helps keep me motivated. Giving/receiving support on here helps keep me on track. You can…

My whys are - health and energy, family and friends. I want to take control of my health (hypoglycemia, blood pressure, migraines, celiac, and other gastro issues) with diet and exercise before it gets worse. (Yeah, my gene's suck... all of those things are very prevalent in my family) I want to be able to go out and do…

Hi! I'm Jess. I'm from Indianapolis. I've messed around with MFP quite a bit over the years, but am really getting serious about it this time. I am almost back down to my lowest adult weight, but hope to lose another 30. I'm eating better and moving more and I've never felt better! (Except for this migraine that has been…

I'm 27... Not sure if that's classified as mid or late 20s, but who cares about semantics? Anyone can feel free to add me. I've just recently gotten serious about getting in shape/losing weight and have found that supportive friends make all the difference.

I'm 27 and try to log every day. I just started again after falling off for a while. Feel free to add me.
-
Exactly. Just plan ahead. Any time I go out to eat, I log what I'm going to eat ahead of time. That way I know I won't go over. I go to a pub trivia night a few times a month. I usually just get chicken and a side salad. But you can totally work the beer and anything else into your calorie allotment. That's one positive of…

I go to the Bike Hub YMCA. When we have my step-son, we also go to the Ransburg (for the pool... the kid is a fish) and the Athenaeum (they have child watch and the Bike Hub doesn't). Just started, but I'm loving it. The ActivTrax program has been quite helpful in keeping me on track.

I have been mostly gluten-free for many, many years. Through an elimination diet in my early teens, I determined pizza, pasta, and bread always made me sick so I gave them up. Fast forward a few years and my grandma was diagnosed with celiac... It all started to come together and I've been totally gluten-free since. When I…

I would love an accountability partner. I have always been very intermittent with logging and need someone to work with.
-
Anyone can feel free to add be as well. I dropped 25 pounds a while back. But now I am back to lose the rest. Ultimate goal is to lose another 50.
-
I'm in! I've got about 40 lbs to go.
-
I just finished Sex at Dawn - excellent read. And am starting Super Freakonomics next.

I'm in the bald is sexy club. My husband started balding in his 20's so he just started shaving. It looks so much better! (Oh, and I absolutely love Bruce Willis!)
-
I have been doing this off and on for a while. I could definitely use some friends to help keep me coming back!

I used to do every day, but found that I got frustrated too easily. Now our scale stays on a shelf in the closet until our once-a-month weigh in.
