No. Kind of the other way around for me. Self-growth led to more confidence which led to consistently working on my health and fitness which led to losing weight.

Depends on the person. I'm an every day person because I like data and trend lines. I have a friend who never gets on a scale and uses other means of tracking progress.

I hate cooking, so I tend to eat the same easy meals a lot. Personal preference, I don't see it as boring. Edit to add: I also have a few medical things that certain foods help or hinder, so that can be incentive for me to keep things "boring".

I won't really be tracking on Christmas and New Years Eve since we always do finger foods and snack-type stuff. Just too difficult to keep track. But I will be consciously trying to eat more of the healthy-ish stuff than the unhealthy stuff and will stick to my 6 hour eating window.

I fast 2 or 3 days a week. It has helped so much with my IBS. Just giving the system a break for a while does wonders. I will be continuing even when I hit maintenance and just adjusting calories on eating days.

I use 100% Food a lot. Just add water (or milk or whatever liquid you want). Taste is decent. I usually add a little cinnamon. I hate cooking and food prep, so it has really helped with my quality of life. ;)

It is part of the natural cycle in a woman's body. Temperature fluctuates, complexion fluctuates, hormones fluctuate. The pitch of our voices even fluctuate. Weight is just one more thing and it usually comes right back down after a few days. Don't let it stress you out unless the overall trend is going up.

Hi! I am Jessica. I have been using MFP on and off for quite a while. My highest weight was 230. Got down to 180 last year, but gained about 20 back over the last year due to some relationship/life/mental health upheaval. Back on it now. I have tried quite a few different options. I hate cooking and don't want to make others make special for me. So I have concluded that the best option for me is to just skip it. :) I tend to enjoy fruit or chocolate anyway, so making alternatives really just isn't worth it to me.
