I used to use Benefiber too, and the best replacement I've found is Fiber Smart. Like Benefiber, it doesn't get gritty or gross in the liquid--it seems to dissolve much better than any other brand I've tried. http://www.renewlife.com/fiber-smart.html

I'm an OA member as well, just popping in to say thanks for posting this. People who haven't experienced food/eating addictions really can't understand, but it's just as painful and debilitating as any drug or alcohol addiction! I highly recommend OA for those looking for a solution, and definitely check out the OA group…

It's funny, until you guys mentioned it I was not familiar with the grey sheet. I googled it and wow! It does look really restrictive! I think that, for me, following that would be asking for trouble. I wonder (without knowing a lot about the history of it) whether it is more from the point in history when OA was focused…

I haven't read this whole thread--just popped in to say that before I saw it, I hadn't heard of IIFYM. After googling it and playing around with calculators, I found out that my current meal plan (around 1700-1800 cal/day) is WAY below my TDEE.
